Fantastic Stay!!

5 of 5
We were fortunate to be able to stay at this great home for a week this summer and loved everything about it. The location was very convenient to all the major tourist attractions and the house was very comfortable and well set up. The fresh fruit left for us on our arrival was a nice surprise and we loved our time in the pool. Bedroom layouts are very good for larger groups and having access to teh garage for parking was great. We absolutely loved our time there and will look to book again next time we are in LA.

Our Wonderful Stay at Aqua Vista

5 of 5
From the moment we stepped into this warm and cozy bungalow, we felt welcomed. We were greeted by a bottle of wine, popcorn, and a kind note from the owners . My seven year old daughter couldn’t stop saying “Ahh mommy they are so nice to think about this…” The studio was decorated with Spanish style décor that we also adorn our own home with. Therefore, this place felt exactly like we were at our own home away from home. Everything that we thought about in terms of hosting our own guests were considered. The owner Scott was extremely pleasant and helpful from the first day of communication. He was always very prompt and professional about any of our concerns or needs regarding the rental. My husband, my daughter, and myself were very appreciative of all the little things considered. For example, there was a jar in the laundry area to start our first load of laundry before we had to go on a quarter treasure hunt. It was little things like this that let us know that we were in good hands and it was nice to feel pampered in the exact fashion as we would pamper ourselves! Thanks Scott and Tatiana! We loved staying in your lovely creation and next time we are in town or any of our family are in need of a place to stay, you will definitely be on top of the list! Many thanks, Maye + Family

The perfect place for two people to stay in LA!

5 of 5
My goodness, I'm hesitant to write about this absolute gem tucked away on a beautiful hillside street in Studio City. Why? Because I want it to be available whenever we visit Los Angeles! Writing about this wonderful getaway is almost like writing a review of my husband so he'll be up for consideration by others. I don't want to share! But here goes, because the begrudging truth is that I actually do want others to enjoy this place as much as we did. My 17-year-old daughter and I enjoyed three nights and four days at this very conveniently located, beautiful little apartment/suite on the bottom floor of Lloyd and JoAnna's absolutely gorgeous tudor home. We were in Studio City during a visit of colleges and various acting classes and workshops my daughter had put together. We've been to Studio City several times, but never stayed at any accommodation like this. It was such a treat to stay in this impeccable, beautifully furnished studio, complete with little kitchen and resort-like bathroom! Two beds, too, should you like to sleep separately, which we do! (One is a couch, but quite comfortable when it pulls out to be a bed.) We saved so much money by cooking our own breakfast and lunch each day. The weather was perfect, and we'd often dine on the front patio/veranda, which overlooks the valley, but better yet, overlooks the beautiful grounds of this hillside mecca. It's SO peaceful compared with anywhere else we've stayed in the Valley. And the price is extremely reasonable. Trust me: You will not find anything of this value in Studio City. Even the cheapy little motel-like place just a half mile down Ventura Blvd is more expensive, and there you just get a not-great room. Never again! The only down side is that you probably won't want to leave. It's hard to go from the bucolic hill into the valley and the rest of the world and back home. And if you have the pleasure of meeting owners/hosts Lloyd and JoAnna, it makes it even harder. You'll feel like you're staying at your home away from home if they have anything to do with it. They're gracious, friendly, and fun. They give you privacy, but are there when you need them. And if you're lucky enough to be home when JoAnna, a (former?) professional pianist, from Canada, plays the grand/baby grand piano upstairs (which she did on an afternoon when we came back for lunch), you will be blown away by the music and her artistry. Can't recommend this place highly enough.
