Perfect Tahoe getaway

5 of 5
"Snowbear" far exceeded our expectations. Wonderful house, exceptional value. Great layout, open and roomy with plenty of privacy and two cozy fireplaces. We had four adults and two teenagers and could have easily had more people without it feeling crowded. The house is nicely decorated with lots of personal touches and thoughtful amenities. Everything you could possibly want or need for a relaxing vacation. Beds were extremely comfortable. The location was perfect. Quiet and woodsy, yet only five minutes to casinos and Heavenly Ski resort. Nancy, the owner is absolutely wonderful. She responds immediately to any questions or concerns. I only wish all property owners were like Nancy. Nancy truly cares about her town-home and the people who rent it. We would happily rent ANY property she owned...sight unseen!! We loved "snowbear" and can't wait to go back. Summer or winter, I would highly recommend this property. Skip the hotels, you won't be sorry. Snowbear is a much better deal. Thank you Nancy, for sharing your home with our family. We had a fantastic time.

Nice little condo

5 of 5
Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was adequately helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We celebrated two fiftieth birthdays over New Years, with 3 couples. The bedrooms were fine, although the bottom level master was quite cold without the space heater. The bottom level bed was very very comfortable. The kitchen was fine, all operated well, would have preferred a few more wine glasses. The hot tub was fantastic. The grill was great, though it ran a little hot - be careful to check the flame. The cable tv seemed to be missing some basic channels like ESPN. It would have been nice to have had a little more TP and Paper towels in place for us. We had trouble turning on the dining table light and fan, but with help from Jaren all was well. Would highly recommend placing there a list of specific particulars regarding this condo. It was quite clean and user friendly and I would recommend this condo. We enjoyed one evening in town and cooked other meals at the condo. We skied two days and it was Heavenly. Close to Stagecoach lodge and staff there was excellent.

Thank you for your hospitality and we enjoyed our stay at the Tahoma condo in the quiet whisper of the pines. It was almost exactly as I envisioned, although I was pleasantly surprised that the second bedroom was on the same level as the Master Bedroom. I thought that maybe it might have been behind the garage or something. Love the pines. Kitchen supplies were convenient and made meal prep a pleasant experience (thank you for all the thoughtful details). We could tell that someone thought about staying in a place away from home. We enjoyed viewing some TV in the living room and comfortable couch, bench and rocker. We were glad you had some stools to sit at the kitchen counter. My two kids and I walked down to the Nevada Beach through the trail system from the condo. Although walking against traffic along the highway requires attention the rest of the two hour walk was great and what an asset to the area (including the bike rentals!)! We didn't use the jacuzzi, although we got nice pool time at the club house. We did a day drive south to Bodie, NEV and enjoyed the scenic drive over Monitor Pass into Markleville--beautiful day and scenery and skies were eye-catchng. Having visited my brothers other three homes being rented nearby north of the village (niece's wedding in Zephyr Estates-- north side of Nevada Beach), we felt that parking convenience in Lake Village was a PLUS!
