After recently revisiting about our trip to CA (there were four of us) we decided that one of the highlights of the whole week was the Sonoma Cottage. We walked in late after a long day of traveling that started at 5 a.m. and oohed and ahhhed our way through the house. It is very tastefully decorated, extremely well equipped and delightful in every way. I mean, there was a bottle of wine on the table, coffee in the fridge, and bathrobes for the hot tub in the closets! We dragged ourselves into the hot tub before crashing in the very comfortable beds. Mornings were the best on the back deck! The landscaping is so tastefully done and is in keeping with the elegant simplicity of the interior decorating. The only thing wrong with house is that we didn't get to spend as much time in it as we would have liked since we were busy doing a day of wine tours, a day in San Francisco, a day at the beach and in the redwoods. We shopped and ate in Sonoma. We particularly liked La Casa for dinner and the Sunflower Cafe for breakfast (eat in the garden out back if you go there). All in all it was a great place to stay and Linda was easy to work with and we can tell that she has the best interest of her customers in mind. My daughter is already considering a trip with her friends. This is the perfect place for a get-away!
