A Healing Sanctuary for My Mom & Dad

5 of 5
There are already tons of 5 star reviews over the Elements. What could I add more? My suggestion is "you have to be there, feel it and then get it, whatever you are looking for". The Elements was a healing sanctuary for my mom who is recovering from the cancer surgery, and for my dad who has devoted all of his time and energy taking care of her. Both of them had gone back home safely, happier, healthier and more determined to make another trip to the Elements next summer. I wish they could and I believe they will. Thanks, Michael! Both you and the Elements may well deserve THE five stars. Much appreciation on the architectural design and the layout of the Elements, especially, for trying hard to preserve the nature as it is. Very Relaxing!

4 of 5
We arrived for a week of relaxation and wine tasting in Sonoma Wine Country culminating with a family wedding at Cline Cellars. We booked The Black Sterling Vineyard Estate sight unseen and were happy with our choice. The house and location was perfect for our party of 14 two of which were children under three years old. The house was well appointed. Always something to do as we enjoyed the pool, hot tub, pool table, available games and venturing to the stables to see the horses and feed them carrots. To our surprise and delight the resident horse named Sterling even repaid the visit by coming to the yard to see us as he is allowed to roam the property. Beautiful morning walks provided much wild life to see. We encountered two small problems, notified the owner and they were taken care of promptly. The property is close to the downtown area, wineries and restaurants. Grocery shopping not too far away and a local farm stand close by. Things that could be improved are: the wi-fi/internet access was limited and would not permit access to an office VPN; the air conditioning upstairs was inadequate (but opening the windows solved the problems for sleeping at night). Overall, a great time was had by all.

Wonderful destination in the heart of wine country

5 of 5
We agree with the previously written reviews about this amazing property. At the risk of being redundant, in addition to the gracious interior accommodations, the outdoor amenities were special, from the beautiful pristine pool and hot tub, to the lovely lounging areas to the bocci court and play areas for children all spread out surrounding this house. There were seven of us ranging in age between 31 and 80 "something" and we all felt perfectly comfortable. This was a setting that provided a wonderful opportunity for quality family time with the best of food and wine in total luxury and comfort. We enjoyed every moment from the early June sunrises and distant rooster's call to the late sunsets and gazing at the stars. We thank Chris for his responsive communications and to Mimi who was so accommodating upon our arrival. We hope to see Mimi AGAIN!
