A Spectacular Getaway

5 of 5
We absolutely loved this place. It's amazingly comfortable, immaculate with a country elegance style, well supplied and has all the amenities you could ever imagine - more than home! Family friendly -- the game room is especially fun and unique with a pool table, ping pong, air hockey, foos ball, darts, and more. (While we didn't use them, we couldn't help but notice what a perfect place this would be for a family with younger kids - everything from a play kitchen in the game loft, to a kid's log cabin in the yard, to a disney princess fishing rod, to ten bikes in adult and kids' sizes). The property is perfectly located near Lassen (only 11 miles away) in a gorgeous forest setting. The proprietors, Diana and Victor, are extremely responsive and live close by in the event something is required. We will definitely be back. It's an incredible find and value.

Refreshing mountain stay

5 of 5
We spent a week at Gilden Lodge and had a wonderful time. The lodge was comfortable, spacious, well equipped, and had a fantastic view of Mt. Shasta. We enjoyed wonderful fall hikes within a short drive and fun bike rides in the surrounding neighborhood and forest service roads nearby. The view of Mt. Shasta was spectacular from the deck and it had a good get-away feel, yet the lodge was only a few minutes from the stores in town. A great blend of outdoor, country enjoyment, and in-town convenience. The owner was a gracious host and we felt welcomed. We plan to return.
