Wining with a Friends

4 of 5
This mid century Santa Rosa home was filled with all the expected amenities including kitchen condiments, utensils, fine linens and toiletries. It also had a great charcoal grill with a wonderful outdoor eating area overlooking the pool and hot tub. The bedrooms and beds are VERY comfortable. It was perfect for three couples visiting the wine country. The host made our stay extra special with fresh eggs from the neighbors chickens and a wonderful bottle of wine. She even had a decadent birthday cake for us We highly recommend a walk down to the corner french bakery for fresh croissants. Communications and follow up from the owner were excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Home

5 of 5
This home was just stunning. The vineyard is hilly and beautiful. Even better, there are two redwood groves on the property. We had 7 adults and our 19 month old grand daughter. It was perfect for her with a playroom, playground, toys, crib and books. She loved the grapes and seeing the chickens. The house is spacious, comfortable and clean. We were in town for a wedding. We had a barbecue with several relatives and friends and everyone was amazed at how beautiful the whole thing was. The owner and his son-in-law (who is the winemaker) were very gracious hosts. Also, We enjoyed Matanzas Creek Winery which is a few minutes away. I look forward to coming back.

Home away from home

4 of 5
The house was just right for our time in Santa Rosa. The kitchen was well-equipped. The beds were comfortable. The yard was lovely, and we enjoyed sitting out on the patio. It was clean and well-maintained. It is close to all the wonderful things to do in Sonoma County. We enjoyed our breakfast at the Piner Cafe, and did our grocery shopping at nearby Raleys - a lovely grocery/wine/beer/all-purpose store. We visited wineries [Bella and Truett-Hurst were both top-notch]. If you go, make sure to stop at the Dry Creek General Store and get sandwiches to take to Truett-Hurst and eat them in the Adirondack chairs that they provide along the lovely creek next to the winery, or you can eat them just outside the store on General Store patio with the great view of vineyards. If you to the general store, make sure to see the bar within the store. We had fun at the beach, Bodega Bay - clam chowder is delicious. The location of the house is in a quiet subdivision. I would highly recommend this property.
