Magical intimate wedding

5 of 5
The Tuscan Villa perched high atop a mountain with views forever was the perfect venue for our daughter's truly memorable wedding. The couple opted for a small intimate wedding with immediate family only (20 people), although the venue can accommodate much larger groups. Both the wedding ceremony and reception were held there and most of the relatives stayed in the well-appointed rooms. We rented the estate for three days, which was great because it avoided the chaos of a hurried set-up before and take-down after the wedding. If you are looking for a stress-free wedding then this is it. Although a newer building, Villa Cielo emanates the old world charm of a century old Tuscan estate, complete with a wood-burning pizza oven in the kitchen. The majestic views, infinity pool, sightings of deer in the woods, and excellent accommodations topped off our stay. The property manager was friendly, very helpful, and accommodating. We looked at many venues before selecting this one; it is truly one of Santa Barbara's best kept secrets!! I give it a 10.

This rental is a good deal.

The owners of this property really have it figured out - everything was very nice. The house is very clean, new kitchen and baths, the enclosed courtyard with hot tub provides complete privacy, and all the necessities for your stay are in place. It's a five minute ride to downtown Santa Barbara, or a bike ride (on the bike lane) takes 10 minutes. The historic Santa Barbara Mission is within walking distance. Making the lease arrangements was easy and the property owner followed up promptly on everything. My wife wanted to become a squatter. One note to people not familar with the area - bring a light jacket or sweater, the nights get quite chilly.
