Beautiful House!

4 of 5
A group of 6 of us spent 2 nights here for a birthday and it very nice! The house has beautiful views and is very peaceful. Close to everything, but secluded at the same time. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all pretty modern and well kept. Nice large kitchen with large dining room table. Overall a great stay! My only suggestions are that the supplies and drawers in the kitchen be cleaned out and possibly re-stocked. A Jacuzzi would be a nice addition too.

Relaxing, casual home with bohemian vibe ...

5 of 5
I read all of the reviews, and feel I can't say much new ... our story is much the same as the others ... a group of six girlfriends chose this house for a special 25 year reunion. The pictures do not do this house justice. Everywhere you look, there's something to feast the eyes on ... from the view that goes on for miles, mountains, Santa Barbara and ocean ... to the lovely paintings, antiques and Spanish Colonial feel of the house ... to the gardens that beg to be explored and sprawl out through the property. I had to pinch myself! While he house is older, which makes for quirky locks, and uneven floors, this only adds to the charm. The furnishings are incredibly cozy, and there are so many places to lose yourself, both inside and out, with a book, glass of wine, or to visit. We used every room ... coffee and wine on the terraces, breakfast al fresco and in the dining room, after dinner drinks in front of the fire. There are many classic books in the library, the kitchen is well appointed, and there are TV set ups, although with so much beauty, who had time? The only "con" is the location, as it is twisty turny up the hill, but it really turns into a "pro" as the view begs you to never leave. I'm counting the days until I can return ...

Stunning Property

5 of 5
We live in Southern Calif, and wanted a place within driving distance, as we were meeting friends from east coast. This place is absolutely stunning, views to die for, amazing pool, cabana, top of the line appliances, and soooo relaxing but within 10 minute drive to downtown Santa Barbara. Hiking and biking from the ranch, great for couples or families. The kitchen is very well appointed, lots of basics spices, etc.., in the kitchen. We were blown away by the architecture and landscaping, and the outdoor entertaining spaces. You will not be disappointed.
