Bellisimo! Magnifique!! Spectaculaire!!!

5 of 5
In a quaint North Beach neighborhood, just a block from Coit Tower and steps away from the cafes, bars and restaurants of Little Italy sits this modern spacious and well appointed apartment. Tastefully decorated with warm furnishings, I immediately felt comfortable upon my arrival. Complete with a well equipped kitchen, LARGE bedroom, a luxurious bath and a welcoming living room, this apartment has no shortcomings. The perks of a dedicated Liebherr wine rack, the heated floors and washer/dryer definitely came in handy! With views of the Trans-America Pyramid and the downtown skyline, you can rest assured the bedroom view is one to not soon be forgotten. As you step outside, you find yourself emerged in a culture thriving on fresh foods, hot cappuccinos and a strong sense of carpe diem. Eli's apartment is bold and beautiful and definitely enhanced my visit to this amazing part of the world. Many thanks for your hospitality! ~Mike

Great Rental

5 of 5
What can I say? As with any vacation rental, I was a bit nervous, you never know what you will find at a vacation rental, and we were a large group (10+); luckily I was pleasantly surprised. This rental was spotless. The bathrooms and kitchens(yes,2 kitchens) were stocked with most necessities.(shampoo, soap, body wash, paper towels, napkins) I have never been on a rental that had so many of the everyday necessities that you usually have to run out and stock up on. There was also a bottle of wine on our arrival. The rental was extremely clean. The house extremely comfortable. The location was great. We had two cars and didn't have to worry about on street parking as one fit in the garage and the other in front of the garage. Even the 60" TV was perfect for us to watch the World Cup final! We walked to the beach and though there were some restaurants nearby with good reviews, we did not get a chance to try any of them. We used the Safeway by the park and ocean for all of our grocery needs. It's open 24 hours. Would absolutely stay here again with a group our size. Kids loved having their own area downstairs and we were even able to use the grill in the back for BBQ. The master bath is amazing with 4 separate shower heads. The only reason I noticed the beds were firm was because of previous reviews, otherwise I wouldn't have noticed. No one else In my group mentioned this. The only negative for me was that there was no "comfortable" area to relax. The living room furniture as you can see in the pictures are wood, and though they have cushions, and sufficed for when we were there, it's not the type of seating one would curl up in to read a book for example. No matter, we were not there to read, so this wasn't an issue but thought I would mention it I case this is important to you. Also, the owner very generously leaves her computer for guests' to use. This proved to be a great help in researching our next days trips and what not. Our deposit was returned even before the end of our trip. I highly recommend this rental.

Yet another 5 star review

5 of 5
I stayed at Cedar's rental for 5 nights with my 13 year old son. It was clean, comfortable, excellent location. Cedar responded to all questions and was easy to work with. The phone and laptop came in handy. My son slept on the sofa bed which has a typical sofa bed mattress: soft and springy. perfect for young backs, but would have not have been comfortable for me. I like a firm mattress and the regular bed was very comfortable. It was also very quiet, making for some good sleeps. I tried the 2 smaller of the adult bikes, and they both need some maintenance. The granny gears didn't work in the bike I ended up using, so it made for some good exercise going up to the Golden Gate Bridge. Also the stand was loose and I was hitting it with my pedal, which was very annoying. I solved that, temporarily, using baggy ties to tie it out of the way. The tires were very low, but when I tried to put in air with the pump, it didn't work, so I gave up. The other smaller bike had the seat stuck in a position that was too high for me and the brakes seemed loose. I didn't try the other bikes. However, I still loved having the bike and used it often to get to the bridge, Fort Point, the Palace of Fine Arts, and Chestnut st. I loved the location and loved SF. We used bus #30 to get around, and #28 to get to the Golden gate park, and a taxi once. I rented a car one day and street parking is fine during the day, but a bit tougher after 5 when the neighbors get home from work, but still manageable. I would recommend this rental and would stay here again if I return to this wonderful city.
