Recent San Francisco Reviews

Nice. Large. Clean. Garage is iffy.

4 of 5
This is an extremely spacious, nicely renovated condo. What you see in the photographs is exactly what you get. It's clean, well maintained, and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, bowls, utensils, etc. The welcoming bottle of wine and free Wi-Fi were a nice touch. And Joy was very responsive via email. One disappointment for us was the garage. If you plan to use it, I would recommend getting a car that is small-ish but has extra clearance under it, such as a small SUV or -- based upon other renter reviews -- a mini van. The driveway entrance (between the sidewalk and garage) is very short and elevated -- though it's surely considered "flat" by San Francisco standards :-). With the front tires of our rental car (Nissan Altima sedan) only a few inches into the garage door, the entire car bottomed-out on the concrete. Not only would the car not go any further INTO the garage, but it also resisted backing OUT. Luckily there was ultimately no major damage to the car. We used street parking for our entire stay, even though garage access was one of the main factors in choosing this condo. And finding an available spot on the street was not as easy as some other reviewers seemed to indicate. We had to drive around various blocks until we came upon another car pulling out. We did generally find a spot within a couple of blocks of the condo.

A real San Francisco home of your own!

5 of 5
6 of us stayed here in early November as a family. It could NOT have been better. I cannot find a single bad thing to say about this apartment. Everything was better than we thought. Staying here makes you feel like a local. We loved it. Just a real treat for a getaway vacation. Not need for me to elaborate more. If you want to stay in SF...stay here.

Triple A Rating

5 of 5
We were lucky enough to stay in this beautifully appointed apartment for our short 4 night stay in San Francisco recently and have decided, should we be lucky enough to ever move to San Fran, this would be it for us, it was perfect! The facilities within the flat are very generous and of high quality. We were able to cook with ease as the kitchen is very well appointed (and delightful to work in I might add). We were also able to wash & dry clothing nightly which was very handy given we were in training. We made use of the Marina running track past Chrissy Field and on to the GG bridge daily. We are healthy eaters and found Kathy had kindly left a listing of 'places to go/shop/eat' which came in very handy and would cater for most preferences. Chestnut Street is a stone’s throw away with great shopping and eats of all kinds and nice for a wander in the evening. Kathy went above and beyond the call of duty when this ditzy Australian girl (me!) left clothing hanging in the Wardrobe, kindly arranging shipment back to me. This was very much appreciated and I cannot thank her enough for the trouble she went to. I would definitely recommend this flat to anyone that wants to be slightly away from the hustle and bustle, enjoys the outdoors and appreciates some of the finer things in life. Thanks again Kathy & Richard – we’ll be back 
