Perfect Place!

5 of 5
We spent the week at this roomy, clean, and comfortable rental property while visiting L.A. in October. Not only was it a central location, with easy access to the highway system, but it was in North Hollywood (NoHo) where there are some great venues, including food (check out Pitfire). The metro is a 10ish minute walk as well. The owner and property caretaker were both so wonderful to us while we scouted for our future cross-country move. Highly recommend this if you are looking to see L.A. and surrounding areas, including the beaches. We went EVERYWHERE and didn't over-mileage on the rental car.

Spacious condo, great location

5 of 5
Our extended family gathered in LA to attend our son's wedding and needed a place that was large enough to sleep 8 - 2 couples and 4 individuals - and be a 'home base' for the preparations as well as a little sightseeing. This condo met all our needs, being both spacious and convenient to highways. We found the property description to be accurate - 2 very large bedrooms, 1 with a walk-in closet, 2 bathrooms, 2 beds and a dresser in the loft and 2 futon / couches in the living room. The kitchen is narrow but well equipped with large, newer appliances and plenty of cooking and serving items, and we used it alot. There are only 4 dining room chairs, though, so we had to be a little creative when it came to eating meals together. The building itself is on a very busy main street opposite a large community park, so the 2 parking spots in the secure garage are invaluable! We did find it quite challenging to coordinate the coming and going of 2 groups of people & cars, though, as you cannot get in or out of the garage without a controller, and there is only 1, but we were able to work it out. This unit is on the upper level of a nicely maintained building and requires 2 steep, long stairways to access it. There are many interesting restaurant options in the Noho district, about a 5-minute walk from the condo, and a Ralph's supermarket is a short drive away as well. The owner was very easy to work with, leaves a notebook filled with helpful info for guests, and responded to our inquiries quickly. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit to LA.

Amazing!!!

5 of 5
This was the first time I used Home Away. The condo was absolutely amazing! The listing was bang on. We had room to spread out (we were 3 adults and 2 teenagers) and it was still felt cozy. The apt. was impeccable and included everything we needed. Loved having the washer and dryer just down the stairs. Ralph's is not far away for shopping and owners provide a discount card. Area is quiet, enjoyed the park across the street. Parking provided was a plus. I would recommend this condo to one and all.
