100% as advertised...

5 of 5
A few minutes from everything... 10 minutes walk from the tram, close to airport and highways. Great for running - both the waterfront and Balboa park. Despite being close to airport surprisingly quiet. Far cheaper than a downtown hotel and with all conveniences of home. Booking process and "check-in/check out" totally painless. We would strongly recommend this property.

Wonderful Condo

4 of 5
Beth & Aaron were wonderful hosts. Photos and description of condo were exactly as advertised. The condo air conditioning was not working for the first couple of days but repairs were promptly initiated and all was well for our 4 week stay. TV channels were minimal at first but Beth quickly updated the cable package and we had many channels to access during our stay, excluding PPV channels of course. The condo was very well equipped for our stay except a couple of sharp cutting knives should have been included which Beth has said will be provided for next tenants. A secure underground parking stall was also provided during our stay. We highly recommend renting this condo. Dennis & Bette Canada

Villa Magnifica

4 of 5
We decided to have our annual family get together in San Diego this year, the week of February 14th, 2015. There were nine adults and two children, ranging in age from 2 to 67 years old. We were tired of winter and wanted to enjoy some warmer weather. Joseph Rohn met us at the house when we arrived and walked us through an orientation, explaining everything that we needed to know, ably answering all our questions. When we had trouble with the outdoor lights, he was over promptly to rectify that problem. He was always available when needed and very responsive. The house offered plenty of room for all of us. The house was laid out well, with the main bedrooms removed, down a wing, from the larger gathering areas of the house. The house was well stocked with bedding, linens, and bath towels. The kitchen was also well stocked. The location in Sunset Cliffs was spectacular; you were right across the street from the ocean. It was a short walk south to Sunset Cliffs Nature Preserve or you could stroll, northerly, for miles along the Sunset Cliffs, taking in the surfers, seals, and other people enjoying nature. The location was also convenient to the airport, Balboa Park, the Zoo, and North San Diego Bay with its many attractions. But, it is not a new house and like most homes of that vintage, in places it is starting to show its age. Where large portions of the house have been remodeled and refurbished, some have lagged behind. In certain rooms electrical outlets were at a premium, especially noticeable when trying to find outlets for today’s electronic devices. What outlets were there, were poorly located. Extension cords should be supplied. Many of the light switches seemed ineffective; e.g. where there should have been 4-way switches controlling the dinner room light only one switch worked. The security gate to the pool did not automatically latch. Bedroom #1 and Bedroom #2 which shared the “Jack and Jill” bath again had a 3-way switch that should have controlled the lighting in the bath room when entered from either bedroom. It didn’t; only one switch worked. The kitchen gas range could not be lit with the built-in igniter. You had to turn on the gas and use a match or propane lighter. The ice maker and built in water functions on the outside of the refrigerator did not work. When we checked out, all the above issues were brought to Joseph Rohn’s attention, which he thanked us for and vowed to look into and correct as soon as possible. I believe him.
