Property was beautiful, clean, and fun!

5 of 5
This was house was beautiful, clean, and entertaining. The rooftop patio was a nice place to relax during the evenings when we were not out enjoying Mission Beach and La Jolla. This property is great for traveling with children like we did. It was nice to have a house where we could cook, had a fridge, and multiple rooms. When my son went to bed, we had a place to go and relax unlike if we were in a hotel. My son loved the bunk beds and the multiple floors. Easy access to the beach, restaurants, and entertainment.

This was our first time staying at a vacation home in San Diego and only our second trip to this city. We chose this vacation home based on the positive reviews we found, the location and the price. We were not disappointed. The rental was clean, comfortable and relaxing. The location was great and we enjoyed walking on the beach and on the board walk. I would definitely recommend this rental.

A wonderful experience

If you don't have the right people taking care of your business, the business will not succeed, and if there was a customer service of the year award, it would be given to Sheila Steverson at Luv Surf. Sheila personally arranged our stay and spoke with us over the phone to make sure the property would fit our needs. We had a scheduling conflict and she put us at ease and promised to take care of us. When we arrived at Redondo, we were pleasantly surprised by all the little details of this tri-level property. The home has lovely heart trim on the outside and soaring ceilings on the inside. It is tastefully decorated with beautiful stain glass windows that were illuminated with each sunrise. The top floor has a great stain glass window in the bathroom over a large Jacuzzi tub. The mattress is so exceptional that I took a picture of the tag so as to purchase one for ourselves in the future. There is a little bistro table on the tiny patio connected to the master that is perfect for viewing the moon and stars at night or having a cup of tea in the morning. The middle level has the kitchen, small desk area, bathroom, and living area. We liked the ornate fireplace and beautiful painting with great accent pillows on the leather couches. The kitchen was well supplied and had a balcony attached. The bottom floor has one bedroom with a bathroom. In my opinion, every rental that allows for pets should only have wood or tile floors, although wood is warmer and more attractive. This property had wood floors that were easy for sand clean up. The property is right across the street from a beautiful beach and close to a patch of grass for pets to use. We appreciated the luxury throws, the tasteful décor, the bottles of wine, and the boogie boards/life vests. Whenever we had something that needed to be addressed, Sheila was accessible and handled it perfectly. We enjoyed dining at The Patio restaurant and shopping at the little Luv Surf shop for apparel that are affiliated with the company. Although Redondo was a perfect property for us, it was Sheila that sealed the deal in creating a loyal customer. Luv Surf will be the place we count on for every San Diego stay.
