This condo is 1st class all the way. Totally updated, the owners thought of everything to make us feel like we were at a 5 star resort! Love love loved the place!

Cozy and quaint beachfront cottage

5 of 5
We are returning visitors to Eric's properties and greatly enjoyed our stay! We appreciated the extra space and really loved the balcony views along with its privacy. The unit was stocked with plenty of amenities and was close by to many restaurants and other attractions. We are a budget conscious family and appreciated the opportunity to stay at a beachfront property without the outrageous price tag. Arlene/Patrick were great to work with and promptly responded to our texts and concerns. As always, we loved the added welcoming touches (fruit, wine, and fresh flowers). I really appreciated the freshly washed linens and towels. Even the bed comforter smelled laundry fresh. We hope to come back in the future!

Great hotel alternative

4 of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed our week here at one of this company's one-bedroom condos. It's a great (and more affordable) alternative to a hotel, especially for a couple. Adding a third or fourth person to your group, and it may get a little tight. Location-wise, this was perfect for us and exactly the area where we wanted to stay. It's close (walkable or a very short drive) to many grocery stores, restaurants, Starbucks, YogurtLand, at least one park (Doyle) and check out the Farmer's Market on Thursdays at Doyle Elementary School. Our unit was close to the pool which worked out great with our young one. The unit itself is clean and well maintained with a couple minor wear-and-tear type issues that didn't impact our stay. Note there is no A/C but a portable unit was there and came in handy on a couple warm afternoons with a couple south facing windows. The kitchen is well equipped and we had lunch there one day and breakfast there everyday. Who wants to cook on vacation? There are two suggestions I have to improve the place; 1) additional towel bars in the bathroom (there was just one) and 2) some furniture on the patio, like a few $20 colorful resin Adirondack chairs from Ace, an outdoor rug and some plants to extend the living area onto the patio. All-in-all we would recommend this place, enjoyed our stay and can't wait to get back to La Jolla.
