Amazing vacation rental

5 of 5
We stayed here during the summer with our two children and were delighted to have chosen this place. Having lived in La Jolla Village years ago, I found it to be very well located both close to the village and the expressway without having to deal with traffic. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. It had all the amenities we were looking for and has recently been remodeled. My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay there and would definitely rent it again if and when we return. We felt like home and when traveling with small children that is extremely important. My children loved it as much as we did!!!!

Fantastic weeks stay....

5 of 5
We had a fantastic week here at the end of August, the property is located in a quiet suburb and is in an ideal location for all the main San Diego attractions. The property is as described in the listing. It is bright, airy and clean, with exceptionally comfy beds. It is well equipped, with everything you need for a self catering holiday. This was excellent for us as we had traveled from the UK and were limited to what we could bring with us. There is free wi-fi throughout the property. There is a good selection of DVD's and boardgames, should you have any spare time on your hands. There were plenty of towels, including beach towels and everything you'd need to spend a day on the beach. There is a gas BBQ by the pool and all you need for alfresco dining. We were met by the owner on arrival who showed us around and explained how everything worked. He was on hand throughout the week and offered us information on places to visit, shop and eat. The pool is beautiful, unfortunately we were so busy sightseeing we didn't make as much use of it as we would have liked. There is so much to see and do in San Diego a week i s not enough, this was our second visit but we will be back. We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended the property to friends. During our stay we visited the USS Midway, Point Loma, went to Sea World, spent time on the beach, went to a Chargers game, visited the Los Americas Shopping Mall near the Mexican boarder (amazing outlet stores), we visited the Sheriffs Museum in Old Town and more.

Great hotel alternative

4 of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed our week here at one of this company's one-bedroom condos. It's a great (and more affordable) alternative to a hotel, especially for a couple. Adding a third or fourth person to your group, and it may get a little tight. Location-wise, this was perfect for us and exactly the area where we wanted to stay. It's close (walkable or a very short drive) to many grocery stores, restaurants, Starbucks, YogurtLand, at least one park (Doyle) and check out the Farmer's Market on Thursdays at Doyle Elementary School. Our unit was close to the pool which worked out great with our young one. The unit itself is clean and well maintained with a couple minor wear-and-tear type issues that didn't impact our stay. Note there is no A/C but a portable unit was there and came in handy on a couple warm afternoons with a couple south facing windows. The kitchen is well equipped and we had lunch there one day and breakfast there everyday. Who wants to cook on vacation? There are two suggestions I have to improve the place; 1) additional towel bars in the bathroom (there was just one) and 2) some furniture on the patio, like a few $20 colorful resin Adirondack chairs from Ace, an outdoor rug and some plants to extend the living area onto the patio. All-in-all we would recommend this place, enjoyed our stay and can't wait to get back to La Jolla.
