We loved the unit. It has a nice San Francisco vibe with the front bay window and a great view of Alcatraz from the kitchen and back bedroom. The bus #30 stops right out front, you are right across the street from Ghirardelli Square, and the Hyde-Powell cable car is just block 1/2 away. You can get anywhere from here. The location is perfect. I liked the fact that the unit is all hardwood floors, I am not a fan of renting units with carpeting. The 3 bedrooms are very spacious, loved having 2 bathrooms, and even tho we only ate a quick breakfast in the unit, everything is there for cooking. The covered parking garage is just 1/2 block away by Ghirardelli Square and we never had a problem finding a place to park. Jessica, property manager, answered all of our questions, even coming over when we pushed a wrong button on the TV causing a lost picture. Sorry about that Jessica. The Wi-Fi was fast and worked in all the rooms. The unit is very clean and had just been repainted. The 2nd bathroom was just put in this Spring and we always had hot water for our showers. Our favorite place to eat was Scomas - amazing seafood. If we come back to San Francisco that will be our first stop. Least favorite was Boudin - bread was good but I get better crab meat here in Illinois. Best Pizza - Patzi's . We enjoyed everything we did and prided ourselves on using the public transportation. We bought the 3 day pass when we rode the Hyde-Powell cable car and used it to get around as parking is not easy to find. Visited Alcatraz; went to Chinatown and found the fortune cookie factory that is located on Ross Alley - not easy to find but once in the alley the smell took us right to it; Marin Headlands; walked the Golden Gate Bridge; adored the sea lions down at Fisherman's Wharf; attended a sing-a-long at Castro Theater; breakfast in Sausalito; Napa Valley; North Beach, St. Peter and Paul Church and everywhere we went the people were so nice. I had read reviews on rude cable car people but that was not the case for us. Loved the unit and loved San Francisco.
