Great space, so cozy!

5 of 5
Carina's chalet is great! All beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, utensils and everything else you could need! There are two patios which were great to relax on, one out front and one out back with a little more privacy. Overall it wasn't a super fancy type of place but had everything we needed! Could not have asked for a better place to call home during our get away!

Perfect

5 of 5
This cabin was absolutely perfect for me and my colleagues! Wet are in our 20's and most of us work far from home, so we got together for Thanksgiving and rented this cabin. It was so nice. First of all, the cabin is much bigger than the pictures make it seem. I was able to quite comfortably cook and entire Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. The couches are really comfortable and the coffee table is the perfect size for games. The heater is so charming and really does heat the place up quickly. Even the bedrooms were warm. Everyone was very comfortable in their beds and everything in then go bathrooms worked well. The cabin is very well stocked with cleaning supplies, a few toiletries, and tons of spices! I think I could have make thanksgiving dinner without bringing any of my own seasonings! In addition to the wonderful cabin, this place also has a wood burning hot tub and a sauna, both of which we used daily and enjoyed quite a bit. Lite the fire for the hot tub around noon and it should be up to temp by dinner time. It was a really cool hot tub! And he few is so cool! You look out over the woods, and one night, we saw a wolf! A full blown wolf! At a safe distance :) but close enough to appreciate the wilderness of Lake Tahoe :) and the sauna was the perfect spot to warm up after a long hike while having deep conversations. And all for such a good price! Mark was so easy to work with and offered me a few payment options so I could choose one I was comfortable with. And we got our full deposit back at the end of our stay. It was just such a delight and we will be returning if we get the chance! Thanks so much, mark, for a wonderful stay!

Words can not express our satisfaction.

First night we were greeted by Chris, the manager with flashlight in hand he guided me up the steep drive way. Thank God for my jeep because my sister with her Honda Accord had a hard time driving up that killer drive way :)...it was the snow to blame...the next day when we cleared the drive way the car went up without a problem. The house: Clean, spacious, safe, kitchen well equipped, the dining room table was nice and roomy, the fireplace was perfect=== after a day in the snow we all enjoyed sitting around the fireplace while we watched a movie "Silver Lining" :). The game room: my husband and the rest of the family took turns at the ping pong table...not standard size table, but perfect for them to enjoy a few competitive games :) The bedrooms: clean, spacious with comfy beds and blankets. Bathrooms: clean, clean, clean...hand sanitizer and start up toilet paper in each bathroom. We were there on 12/12/15 and we were fortunate enough to get the first snowfall of the season...the kids made snow angels in the back yard...while snow was coming down...it was magical! The owner, Mr. Jerry...what an awesome person to work with ===he answered all my emails, calls and even text messages. he was always available to answer my questions. Even Lexie my daughters guide dog had a blast in the snow :) and did not have a problem with all the stairs. by the way, the pictures on this website don't do justice to the house. We will definitely stay here again next year! THANK YOU MR. JERRY!!!
