Garden Suite

5 of 5
For Garden Suite While meeting an old friend in Santa Barbara, we spent 10 days in the delightful “Garden Suite” on East Arrellaga. From here one can discover this beautiful city on foot or by bike. The Suite is different from anything I've ever discovered, small, sweet, cozy and tasteful, a sheer delightful place with all the amenities one can hope for. I will never forget watching the sun rise from the upstairs bedroom window. It transforms you into a different world. I can highly recommend this unusual pearl in the heart of Santa Barbara...

Perfect Get-Away!!

5 of 5
I took my family of 4 to San Diego to enjoy the sun and beaches. We skipped the hotel because we wanted to be able to walk to the beach but also have a separate bedroom for the kids (ages 7 and 12) at an affordable price. The beach was just minutes away and we went there every morning to play a little before heading out for our day’s adventure. Everything at the house was new and nicely decorated. The beds were super comfy and having A/C and a washer made it an extra comfortable stay. Seaworld, San Diego Zoo and the Midway carrier were all within an easy drive. Ocean Beach had many tasty places to eat. Hodad’s (worth the wait), Pizza Port (tasty beers) and Tower 2 for breakfast were some of our favorites. The Olive Tree Marketplace is a great place for snacks or groceries if you would rather make your own meals. The kitchen is well stocked. If we come to San Diego again, we will definitely stay here.

We could have stayed forever!

5 of 5
As VBRO and Homeaway users, we can say that our stay at the bungalow was beyond our expectations. Our hosts made us very welcome and saw to every detail. Although they were in residence during our stay and made themselves available, the property is so large and private we felt alone, but had the comfort of knowing they weren't far. Every amenity was thought of; 2 sets of his & her robes for seasonal temps., an abundance of extra linens, blankets, pillows etc., a fully equipped kitchen stocked with basic condiments and spices, coffee, tea to get you started. Faith has added her incredible touches throughout the bungalow so that the eye is never disappointed. There is what we came to dub "the red bible" on the desk which answers almost any question you might have about the bungalow before you have it. Very helpful. The bungalow is about 10 minutes from downtown Napa, half of which is a beautiful drive down the mountain through deer gated vineyards. The highway is easy to access and daily trips to St.Helena, Sonoma, Yountville and Calistoga were a breeze. Faith and Peter were very helpful with info on where to market, restaurant and visit locally. Favorite food and wine pairing was St. Francis Winery. Don't miss Artesa winery. Loved downtown Sonoma for shopping and lunch. Unexpected highlight was meeting Peter & Faith and their canine and feline family Dorji, Rosie and Fred! We literally could have stayed forever!
