Great location and value

5 of 5
If you are fortunate enough to book Jackie's home for your SF stay, you will not regret it. The location is ideal for access to shopping - TJ's and Safeway within a mile, restaurants along Union and Chestnut, walking at the Presidio, Crissy, Marina, Fort Mason. The apartment is bright, clean and updated in a classic building. Excellent wi-fi and everything you need for cooking, eating at home. Parking can be a hassle but where isn't it in SF. You really don't need a car though - very safe neighborhood w/several bus lines within a few blocks. For a good morning wakeup, walk up to beautiful Alta Plaza park, top of Pacific Heights, then back down for coffee on Union (or get the coffee first.)

Great location.

5 of 5
I really enjoyed this property. The location is perfectly located for walks on the beach, hiking to beautiful private beaches, exploring tidal pools, paddle boarding, delicious seafood, etc. The loft is very cozy with amazing views. It was really clean and was fully stocked with cooking supplies, serving ware, etc. They also provided coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sugar, paper towels, etc. There is a steep staircase to access this property. We brought two small dogs. I didn't love hauling them up and down the stairs to do their business, but the owner was very open about this. They also have a ground-level property in the same building. If I go back, I will still stay in the loft, even with the dogs, because I loved the views. The owner was very helpful. Very easy reservations. I didn't meet him, but didn't really need to. He gave us great instructions and everything that we needed was there. I loved that they have everything labeled with instructions! I'm not mechanically inclined, so that was very helpful. A few hints: - I didn't think the local water tasted very good. I would bring bottled water next time. - Loved the Princeton Seafood Company. Great food. Easy walk from the property. - The beach in front of the property is VERY dog friendly. Lots of dogs running and playing unleashed. We loved it. - Our favorite part was hiking to the private beach just on the other side of the point. It's a really steep trail, but worth it. Just stay on the trail. We saw some poison ivy off the trail.
