Vacation of a Lifetime

5 of 5
We planned this vacation as a getaway to celebrate my wife Peggy's and my 60th birthdays. We invited our entire family (four children and significant others) to join us, which they did. Let me start by saying the Villa Santa Rosa exceeded our expectations. It was simply wonderful. The Villa allows everyone their space and privacy in spite of the fact that we had 10 people. The Villa is a great starting point for excursions as we visited Southern Sonoma County, Napa Valley, the Russian River area and the Redwoods/Ocean. We also fit in 2 trips to Healdsburg. Kevin and Maureen were incredibly helpful. I am glad I had a chance to meet both of them. We did most of our evening meals at the Villa and had each couple prepare a meal. It worked great from baking to grilling! We even watched a few movies on Netflix! I really can't do justice to the Villa but let me just say you won't be disappointed. We truly had a vacation of a lifetime - thank you Kevin and Maureen!

Top Notch from Start to Finish

5 of 5
I recently helped a friend from out of the country find Villa Toscana, in Lafayette to use as the venue for their wedding. From start to finish, everything about this property was top notch. Carole and Dan, the owners answered emails very promptly, made themselves available to not only preview the property, but let two different caterers come out for site visits. Carole has a wealth of information and resources for hosting events at their property on her website, but she went out of her way to email a former client to get a review on a caterer. Then the property was immaculate, nicely decorated but at the same time a truly comfortable home to rent. My friends stayed the entire week. The house again was lovely, but what made the experience truly incredible was the ease and professionalism of dealing with the owners.

Magical intimate wedding

5 of 5
The Tuscan Villa perched high atop a mountain with views forever was the perfect venue for our daughter's truly memorable wedding. The couple opted for a small intimate wedding with immediate family only (20 people), although the venue can accommodate much larger groups. Both the wedding ceremony and reception were held there and most of the relatives stayed in the well-appointed rooms. We rented the estate for three days, which was great because it avoided the chaos of a hurried set-up before and take-down after the wedding. If you are looking for a stress-free wedding then this is it. Although a newer building, Villa Cielo emanates the old world charm of a century old Tuscan estate, complete with a wood-burning pizza oven in the kitchen. The majestic views, infinity pool, sightings of deer in the woods, and excellent accommodations topped off our stay. The property manager was friendly, very helpful, and accommodating. We looked at many venues before selecting this one; it is truly one of Santa Barbara's best kept secrets!! I give it a 10.
