Breathtaking!

5 of 5
I recently stayed here with my two daughters. Although the rental is meant for 2 guests, Jeffrey was very accommodating and set up an extra , most comfortable ever, blow up bed for one of my daughters. The description and pictures on this listing are exact to the property. After looking for the perfect place we finally came across this property and my 13 year old screamed with delight and begged to be able to stay here. Being a single mom and on a tight budget, Jeffrey was very nice to work out payments while holding the days for us. We looked forward to staying here for weeks and when we got there we could not believe we were actually finally sitting in the hot tub overlooking the beautiful lit up city of LA from a lush, exotic "cliffside resort style chateau" (that's how I describe it), like we had been dreaming of. It went by way too fast! Nobody could possibly be disappointed here. We are also cat lovers and there are 4 cats on the property. We had fun making up our own names for them. I was completely intrigued with the narrow "hilly" roads that zig zagged up and down through the neighborhood and all of the unique homes. Being from Florida, we are used to everything being flat. It really does feel like you are in another country in this Silver Lake neighborhood but yet so close to all the action of LA. It was a very busy 5 days of exploring. This property is in a great location of the main roads to get anywhere you want to go. Just avoid 7-10am and 4-8p for traffic during the work week. If you make a trip to the coast, either leave to come back at about 3p or stay until at least 8p. Trust me, you'd much rather be having fun on the beach or back at home then sitting in traffic breathing gas fumes and going about 2 miles per hour! It was always fun to come back to the apartment to cook a nice dinner in the awesome kitchen and relax in the hot tub or just sit on the balcony looking at the city lights and the stars. I can also say that it is so much better to deal direct with the property owner than a management company and Jeffrey was right there to respond to anything we needed. We didn't need much but we did have a personal problem that he took care of for us which most wouldn't have been so generous. We had originally been looking for a city loft to stay in because we thought that would be "cool" but I am so glad we came across Jeffrey's property. I can't imagine it being any better and I'm so glad we were able to discover Silver Lake!

A Property To Be Proud Of!

5 of 5
Perfection! Clean, lovely, well maintained and comfortable. A short walk to Trader Joe's and a wonderful coffee shop. Parking in front of the home. After a busy day out and about, we loved coming back to the quiet neighborhood and our little apartment with the very comfortable king sized bed! I want to thank our hosts and commend them on their property. Thank you.

Tree top oasis perfection!

5 of 5
I had 5 nights in this perfectly appointed property. I am a VRBO owner as well and I know how much work goes into making it a great stay for your guests and he did a great job. The place is charming, clean, very comfortable bed and provides a retreat after busy days around LA. Easy access to all parts of the city. Should I have work that requires an extended stay I would happily call this place home. Fully equipped kitchen, I was able to cook breakfast and sit outside on the terrace to eat or work. The view was pretty wonderful and the photos don't do it justice. The owner was kind and responsive. I highly recommend. One note: Silver Lake is like San Francisco, very hilly if you have issues with steep terrain due to injury or age that would be the only drawback.
