Awesome Home and Beautiful Views!

5 of 5
We had a great stay in this beautiful home in San Diego! The home has lots of nice and high end features; from the decor, to the linens (even the beach towels are top notch), to the property managers; everything was well done, and lots of attention and consideration was given to the finishes of the home, and to the comfort of our stay. Susan and Bruce (the property managers) were very responsive to our questions prior to, during our stay. Bruce met my sister and brother-in-law (the first to arrive) at the house to go over all of the necessary information needed such as the operation of the lights, stove, hot tub, doors, etc., and even gave us his Ralph's card to use for discounts at the supermarket located just a few blocks from the house! Such a nice man. They also made sure to have an infant gate and pack in play for our use, which really came in handy in keeping the little one from playing on the stairs. The location of the house (in Point Loma), was very central to just about everything we had planned, so the longest it took us to drive anywhere was 15-20 minutes. We visited the San Diego Zoo, Coronado Beach, and the Old San Diego. When we weren’t visiting attractions, just being at the house and enjoying the multi –level balconies and views, and preparing family meals in the beautifully done gourmet kitchen was a real treat. We had a friendly debate about there not being a TV in the main level living room, (a few thought there should be one there) but it didn’t take long for all of us (8 adults) to be in complete agreement that one wasn’t needed nor wanted there. No worries though, because there are plenty of TV’s throughout the house for those who want them. The views from the living room, and ample seating both inside and outside, made for lots of casual conversation groupings, and an overall feeling of togetherness and quality time spent. We are truly thankful to the owner for sharing his home with our family, and we look forward to visiting San Diego again, and hopefully using this home as our home base when there. Don’t hesitate to book this place, you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect property in every way!

5 of 5
Our family of four all loved this house. (We have two 10 year olds that LOVED being able to play croquette in the fenced in yeard!) The location was extremely convenient as well as being in a lovely neighborhood! The owner and his manager were extremely easy to communicate with! The windows made it feel like you were enjoying the outdoors when inside and the yard and deck were spectacular.

Be treated like Royalty at the 'Castle'!

5 of 5
The Castle was clean& organized and well equipped. The owner, Frank lives next door and left a welcome basket with some snacks& wine, took us out on a boat ride with a lovely assortment of snacks& drinks. He also got us guest passes to the yacht club next door where we had lunch one afternoon. He offered use of his beach and we could have had a beachside fire but we ran out of time. He also gave us privacy, if you didn't want to do any of the mentioned activities you didn't have to. He always called before he came and rang the doorbell! The area around the castle is beautiful with a walking path and beautiful views! We made use of the rear deck to sit and have coffee & enjoy the fresh air!
