RELAXING STAY IN THE COUNTRY

5 of 5
The pictures don't do this property justice. This is a very private and attractive home with lovely views of low-lying coastal hills and a beautiful secluded garden and patio. The property is a working horse ranch and waking up to see the sunrise over the hills and listening to the animals wake up on the ranch was a truly memorable experience. It is thoughtfully equipped, comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed the open, quiet outdoor patio so much that we wanted to adopt this place as our own special "home-away-from-home." It is truly unique and wonderful!

WHAT A GEM

5 of 5
We rented both this house and the adjoining house (Seagull) for a large group of us (between 10-15, hard to keep track of so many people) and it was absolutely perfect. The house is cozy and warm, with a variety of bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms for lots of people. Though the house is a little older, it has tons of personality and is fun to explore, and it was completely clean and in perfect order when we arrived, even though we were early arrivals. The front yard was great for kids, the hot tub was great for the grownups, the hidden upper deck is perfect to sneak away with someone from the chaos of the full house for a quiet drink while watching the sunset. The location is RIGHT on the beach, there's a great Mexican restaurant and small grocery store within walking distance, though you will need a car to get anywhere else. The living/dining area was plenty big enough and well stocked even when everyone from both houses got together to BBQ and eat in. As long as you're not looking for the newest, modern, brand new house, this house is pretty much perfect.

HIDDEN GEM

5 of 5
Rented this house along with the adjoining Sanddollar for a weekend with a large group. While most of the social activities centered in the other house, this house had a nice living area as well. The bedrooms were clean and neat and though the house is a bit older, it has tons of personality and everything that the 6 people who stayed there could need. It is easily separated enough from the other house that it would not be a problem to rent it separately... when it got noisy in one house, the other was a great quiet retreat... However, for large groups having both houses is really nice, as you can separate a quiet area for kids while the grownups stay up late. The shared hot tub is a great perk and is located on an upper deck. It is a short walk to a good Mexican restaurant and a couple of mini-marts, but for everything else you will need a car. It is right next to the beach, so walking there is obviously not a problem. Everybody in my party loved both houses.
