Relaxing, beautiful, well-appointed stay

5 of 5
This place was perfect for my surprise getaway for my boyfriend. I wanted to take him somewhere relaxing, remote and peaceful. This is exactly what we got - the deck is the best place to spend your time and drink a glass of wine at sunset. The sunset was absolutely beautiful! Karen wasn't there this weekend but was more than helpful and caring via phone and text. The bed was SO comfortable we want to buy the same mattress and sheets now! The bathroom is very nice and modern. Despite being an older building of course, and being within a barn, all the modern amenities are there. If you aren't okay with seeing a spider or bug every now and then, then maybe you should just stay in a hotel. But if you're looking for authentic ranch life in a remote location, this is it. The interior is decorated perfectly. Plus, we found a bottle of wine outside our door which was a nice touch! If you are looking for something with rolling green hills, then be warned that whilst it's beautiful and romantic, the scenery is dry and barren. Don't go out to dinner - your time is best spent on the amazing deck, eating a home cooked meal or snacks and a glass of wine of course! Also, the dogs near the main quarters were extremely friendly but be warned about the dogs near the first house on the property - they were pretty vicious - they should definitely be kept inside when there are ranch guests, in my opinion, as we wanted to see the goats and donkeys by the road but the dogs got in our way! Everything else was wonderful though. It spurred my boyfriend to say he would like to get married on a similar property/setting!

Thank you Che for your kind hospitality.

The picture does not justify the beauty of this place, we were welcomed by Che who is the nicest and most generous host I have ever met. This property is so beautiful and clean, the staff are so nice. Our two Bichons had more fun than us, they were running around the ranch and played all day. We can't wait to go back and stay longer. Sue Casa..name says it all

5 of 5
First and foremost, I would like to thank Michele for helping us make our stay very welcoming. She was very accommodating. There were a total of four families who stayed at Sue Casa. We were up for a couple of days of some fun and relaxation. The look on each persons face as they entered the home was of pure astonishment. The home was immense and absolutely stunning. It was so big, we all got a little lost; kids had a field day playing hide and seek! All of the rooms: including the bedrooms, living room, dining rooms, and kitchen were plenty spacious for all 14 of us. Our favorite hang out of all was the outdoor patio/BBQ/pool area. Watching the kids play while the adults enjoyed some great wines from Paso was one of the best part of our stay. The beautiful grounds and landscape were the highlight of the property. You couldn't ask for more...except for maybe the beautiful horses off in the foreground and seeing a few shooting stars stream across the night sky. A Perfect setting all the way around. We will be returning to Sue Casa!
