Enjoyable family vacation

4 of 5
My family (five of us, plus two dogs) stayed her for three days between Christmas and New Years, and everyone had a great time. Marty met us when we arrived and was a great host during our stay. The main barn was rustic, but very comfortable. The whole family enjoyed exploring the ranch and our two Golden Retrievers enjoyed going off-leash - exploring, running, chasing each other, and playing with Marty's dogs! We would love to do this again!

A unique and very special hideaway.

My daughter and I were looking for a special place to stay in Paso Robles. We wanted something that was not your typical hotel or Bed and Breakfast. Since we were traveling to Paso Robles from Virginia, we wanted to feel immersed in the relaxing serenity the area offers. This is what we found at this property. We stayed in the converted barn which easily accommodates a couple with a kid or two. The decor is delightful and the Queen sized bed is spacious. The pull out sofa bed is comfortable and the upper bunk provides a great place for a child to sleep. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning and being greeted by two miniature horses and a donkey. We enjoyed the privacy and quiet. In the back of the barn there is a patio with a view of a huge lone oak tree which at night, is back lit by more stars than I think I've every seen. Marty and Karen are wonderful hosts by making sure you have everything you might need, making themselves available if needed, yet providing a quiet and private stay. We did not cook while we stayed here, but we easily could have with the kitchen and dining table. Our hosts also provided plenty of brochures and local winery information. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an intimate and unique experience.
