Recent Paso Robles Reviews

A unique and very special hideaway.

5 of 5
My daughter and I were looking for a special place to stay in Paso Robles. We wanted something that was not your typical hotel or Bed and Breakfast. Since we were traveling to Paso Robles from Virginia, we wanted to feel immersed in the relaxing serenity the area offers. This is what we found at this property. We stayed in the converted barn which easily accommodates a couple with a kid or two. The decor is delightful and the Queen sized bed is spacious. The pull out sofa bed is comfortable and the upper bunk provides a great place for a child to sleep. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning and being greeted by two miniature horses and a donkey. We enjoyed the privacy and quiet. In the back of the barn there is a patio with a view of a huge lone oak tree which at night, is back lit by more stars than I think I've every seen. Marty and Karen are wonderful hosts by making sure you have everything you might need, making themselves available if needed, yet providing a quiet and private stay. We did not cook while we stayed here, but we easily could have with the kitchen and dining table. Our hosts also provided plenty of brochures and local winery information. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an intimate and unique experience.

Right in the middle close to HEAVEN!

5 of 5
We had a little bit of heaven on the top of a hill. Our visit to this wonderful property was magical. The views from the porch were awesome! We even saw Bald Eagles and a beautiful Red Tail Hawk. The location is great, so close to Cambria, Morro Bay and all the wineries around Paso Robles. The beds were so comforatble and the cottage was immaculate. The owners were so flexible and accommodating, we felt right at home. The hill makes for a vigorous morning walk pass the vineyards with the little birds scurrying across the path, including some wild turkeys! We spent a day out to breakfast at the Cowgirl Cafe and a Farmers Market in downtown Paso Robles. Lisa even shared fresh goodies from her garden. Our gatherings on the porch in the evening were so much fun. We hope to come back soon!

Wow! What a great stay!

5 of 5
We just returned from out fantastic visit in Paso. We stayed at Karen and Marty's place outside of town. I almost hate to write a great review as I'd like this place to be "our secret"! :). We really enjoyed the setting and the hospitality. It is definitely a great alternative to a hotel! We will definitely be back.
