Overall our stay at this property was pleasant. It is very close to everything to do in San Diego. The property was clean and well maintained. The most notable thing for travelers is that if you are an early riser, this is the perfect property for you. However, if you like to sleep in late then you might have a problem. This unit is on the bottom floor and the family that lives in the upstairs unit has smaller children that tend to sound like a marching band in mornings. Also, because it is on the bottom floor, be aware that the airflow isn't to breezy and so you have to leave all the windows open and fans on since the unit doesn't have central air conditioning. Oh, and while there is a laundry room just steps outside your door, each time you wash your clothes, it will cost $1.75 (7 quarters) and then another $1.75 to dry. Therefore, be sure to keep quarters on hand. Also, parking is very tight. The unit does have 2 alloted parking spaces but good luck trying to fit in those. Overall, the unit is great and the owners sister is just down the block and will come to help with anything needed. There are plenty of towels, linens, sandtoys and many other things. I would be comfortable staying here again if we traveled back to San Diego.
