Lovely place to stay

5 of 5
We are a family of four (our kids are 4 & 7 years old), and we had the opportunity had the opportunity to stay in this vacation rental from February 15 to 19, 2014. We arrived after a very long day -- we had spent the entire day at Disneyland and then got stuck in interminable traffic driving from Anaheim to San Diego. Night had already fallen by the time we pulled up to the house, and we were all exhausted & cranky. I cannot tell you what a pleasure it was to arrive at the house to find lights on, music playing, and a bottle of wine waiting for my husband and I to share after the kids went to bed (which we did!) We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house was very well furnished and the decor was lovely. Our only suggestion would be to have some kind of guide waiting for guests with some basic info such as the location of the washer/dryer, which we had no idea would be located in the garage next to the house. A big laundry basket would be helpful too, since we had to cart quite a bit of laundry back & forth between the house & the garage. Another issue we had was that some electrical outlets could not handle our devices. The plug-ins would not stay in the sockets, so we had to find the more updated outlets to use. Still, we really liked this vacation rental and wished we could have stayed for longer. My apologies for the delay in writing this review. It was such a lovely little place that we did want to leave our positive comments, however late. Thanks again to Dennis for his assistance in booking the rental, and most importantly, for the wine! (We really needed it!)

Fabulous Family Home

5 of 5
This house was perfect for our stay in Pacific Beach. We had 2 adults and 3 kids staying here and it had ample room for everyone. The kitchen appliances were top of the line (I would love the stove in my own house). The back yard has wonderful breezes and a huge plus was that the master bath had a door to the back yard so, after a rinse in the outside shower, sandy kids could go right in to finish getting clean without dripping through the house. My kids loved that you could see the SeaWorld fireworks from the side porch. The best thing was the location. It was far enough away from Garnet St that you don't have the partying noise, but close enough that you could bike to restaurants or the grocery. We could even bike to the beach if we didn't take too many accessories (sand toys/boogie boards/chairs are a little hard to balance on a bike). The owners had left a flyer of San Diego Surf School and my boys did 2 weeks of surf camp. I would definitely recommend staying at this house.

We had the best time! this rental should not be called a rental this is a real home away! Gina helped from the beginning what a doll! Mary Sue the owner is WONDERFUL! when she went to the store to buy me rice when I dropped my i pad in the ocean she was my new best friend that was over the top service! This house has everything and more than you need! We entertained cousins and had my son and grand daughter there as well. thank you we will be back! I miss the views and the sound of the ocean and you Mary Sue!
