Wow! This place really is great. It is perfect in every way. THE HOUSE: The house is beautiful, spacious, and exceptionally clean. The main living room is large and opens up to a beachfront deck. The deck has a stunning ocean view along with table, chairs and BBQ. The kitchen is roomy and had a lot of pantry space. The dining room table sat quite a few people and more people were able to sit at the bar. The master bedroom opens to the ocean with a comfortable bed. The shower with a gorgeous marble floor and tile. I opened the windows at night and listened to the ocean waves as I fell asleep. There were two more bedrooms and one of them had two queen beds. My kids were in heaven. It is also decorated in a soothing beach theme. The bed is also very comfortable. BACKYARD: You walk outside to your own private sandy beach backyard. What a novelty! From the private beach you walk out to the Pacific Ocean. You are literally just steps away from the ocean. The beach was not crowded. There were a couple of families on either side of us that were staying in beach houses next to ours. Other than that the sand and ocean were ours for the taking. It was honestly like having my own private beach. OCEANSIDE: There is so much to do while you are here. The pier is just down the street. At the end of the pier is a 50's diner "Ruby's", which is a great place to get a burger an shake. There are also many restaurants either a walk or short drive away. There are farmers markets once a week in the morning and evening where you can buy food and goods. Legoland is just a few minutes away. But honestly, you could really stay right on the property and have the time of your life! I would highly recommend this beach house. You will not be disappointed.

Very nice and well located.

The house was exactly as listed. We knew what the house was like from the may photos in the listing. The house was exceptionally clean and yet always felt comfortable. The location, being just a block from the beach and across from the train station, was surprisingly quiet. The owners sent all the information about the house just before arrival, but never bothered us once we arrived. They left several numbers and email addresses to contact them if we need to. We would highly recommend this property to anyone. We are making plans to come again next year. I will be booking again as soon as we have our dates settled. One of our group had never been to Southern California. This house is perfectly located to visit the attraction in both San Diego and Orange County. While staying there we visited the zoo and the bay front in San Diego including the USS Midway, the old Mission in Oceanside, the Safari Park and the Richard Nixon Presidential Home and Library. The house is within easy walking to the Oceanside Pier, and the downtown of Oceanside. We would walk to a couple of the different restaurants in downtown in the mornings before starting off. Very excellent place to stay.

Beautiful, clean, spacious home in great location!

5 of 5
My family's week long stay at this house was above and beyond our expectations! The location was perfect- right across the street from the beach and walking distance from some great restaurants. The house was spacious, clean, and prepared with everything we could possibly need for our vacation. We loved cooking dinner and eating on the rooftop deck! The kitchen was huge and stocked with so many cooking supplies. There was every size pot, pan, baking dish, etc. you could need to cook with, as well as cooking spray, spices, and seasonings! The living room has a huge couch with reclining seats that we loved, a cozy fireplace, and a nice TV where we were able to watch some Netflix movies. The bedrooms were spacious and neatly made up. The bathrooms were nice and clean with lots of towels and other necessities. Also very convenient to have a washer and dryer in the house! This was by far the nicest rental home we have ever stayed in and the best renting experience altogether. The owners were so helpful and great to work with - we can't wait to visit again! Some of the things we did during our vacation: San Diego Zoo: It was an easy 40 minute drive to the zoo which was great. It was the perfect time of year to go because it wasn't too crowded and we had beautiful sunny weather in the 70s. Best zoo we've ever been to! Gas Lamp Quarter in San Diego: Great area to walk around and shop and go out for a nice lunch or dinner. We went to an all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse called Rei Do Gado and it was amazing. Wine tour and tasting in Temecula about 45 minutes away. We got a Groupon for South Coast Winery and it was perfect. There are a ton of options in the area! Jimmy Kimmel Show: Tickets are free! The show was in Hollywood about an hour and 15 minute drive. Really cool experience. We went to The Church Key in West Hollywood after the show for happy hour drinks and dinner which was great! Riding bikes around Oceanside was one of our favorite days! It is such a beautiful area. We walked down the pier and rented fishing poles for about $10. Lots of eating! There are so many great restaurants in Oceanside. It was also nice having the option of cooking since the kitchen has everything you need! We hope to visit again soon and will definitely be renting this house when we do!
