Super clean, cozy & comfortable!

5 of 5
My spouse (35), toddler (2) & I (31) stayed here for 5 days & it was absolutely perfect. It was as close as we could get to that home feeling. The place is perfectly sized for a family of 3! Every nook & cranny is very clean, I promise you I checked! The washer/dryer was invaluable to us since we are active & have a toddler. She even had detergent for us to use! Only down side for those with small kids is that the door is easily unlocked from with-in. Our laughing toddler was half way down the street before we realized. We just put the single chair in front & blocked him off & we were fine the entire duration of our stay. Other then that, she had everything you could possibly want or use available & is a great location. We hit up Torrey Pines, La Jolla, the Zoo, the National Cemetery, Little Italy, Little Mexico, the Lighthouse, Balboa Park all with-in a 15-20 min drive! Such a good stay & highly recommend.

Perfect Get-Away!!

5 of 5
I took my family of 4 to San Diego to enjoy the sun and beaches. We skipped the hotel because we wanted to be able to walk to the beach but also have a separate bedroom for the kids (ages 7 and 12) at an affordable price. The beach was just minutes away and we went there every morning to play a little before heading out for our day’s adventure. Everything at the house was new and nicely decorated. The beds were super comfy and having A/C and a washer made it an extra comfortable stay. Seaworld, San Diego Zoo and the Midway carrier were all within an easy drive. Ocean Beach had many tasty places to eat. Hodad’s (worth the wait), Pizza Port (tasty beers) and Tower 2 for breakfast were some of our favorites. The Olive Tree Marketplace is a great place for snacks or groceries if you would rather make your own meals. The kitchen is well stocked. If we come to San Diego again, we will definitely stay here.

Love this place

Linda did everything humanly possible to make our stay awesome. The kitchen was fully stocked--including spices, PASTA!!!, even more cookware than what I have at home and I cooked professionally for years. We didn't have to bring our basic toiletries because she provided those as well. Moreover, the area/neighborhood is very nice. It reminded us a lot of the neighborhood we live in in Sacramento----older, bungalows, narrow streets but we don't have a beach, unfortunately. In fact, at the dog park beach, we commented that even the pit bulls are nice.
