GORGEOUS, CLEAN AND TASTEFULLY DECORATED.

5 of 5
Our stay at Haven on the Lake was thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing...We loved everything, from the homes cleanliness to its beach decor. The property manager, Steve contacted us on our drive there to coordinate a meet time at the property, he was flexible and pleasant to work with. When we arrived he met us there and gave us a tour of the property, he advised us to contact him at any time during our stay if we had questions or concerns. We loved the fire pit in the backyard and used it every night to roast marshmallows and make smores. The house looks exactly like the pictures online which made me very happy because that is what attracted us to the site in the first place....we love beach decor and the view from the kitchen and family room is breathtaking, you don't get tired of looking at that gorgeous view.... The kitchen was fully stocked with most everything you can possibly need for cooking. I really cant say enough good things about the property itself. The only bummer was that we could not swim off the dock because the water was too low due to the drought. My two kids were really looking forward to that and my husband was looking forward to fishing off the dock. Regardless of that we did get some fishing and swimming in while at Clearlake. Thank you Pam and Mike for sharing your home with us, we truly enjoyed it! Our plan is to visit again next year.....

A COZY COTTAGE WITH BREATHTAKING VIEWS OF THE PACIFIC OCEAN

5 of 5
The pictures you see on the website don't do this property justice. In fact, I became very frustrated with my own pictures-- because I could never quite capture the the amazing views my eyes were taking in. This property is a true find if you want solitude, privacy, and ownership of the Pacific. Perched high on a bluff overlooking a rocky beach, the views from the living room are 180 degrees. The house itself (2 bedroom, 1 bathroom) is nothing terribly modern or spacious, but it didn't matter, because my wife and I never wanted to leave the main room with the big picture windows. Fortunately, there is a full size futon in front of those windows, and a gas fireplace directly to the right. Nothing compared to sleeping to the stars at night and waking up to the vastness of water in front of us. Again, don't expect a modern house. This cottage was probably built in the 50's, and the bathroom fixtures (pedestal sink and claw foot tub with curtains) are era appropriate. But it does come with expanded cable tv and HBO, a spacious, open kitchen... and memories of relaxation to last a lifetime. One word of caution: as this property is off an unpaved road, I would not recommend driving a low-suspension vehicle up to the house. The road has a few potholes and a raised center in some areas that could scrape the bottom of subcompacts and sports cars.

LIVE IN PARADISE

5 of 5
I am a traveling physical therapist and had the opportunity to live in a private oasis. If you ar looking for a privately gated park setting, on a majestic lake, explore some of the best vineyards and an artistic community - this is the place! Andrew and Lynn created a beautiful living space with well appointed furnishings, linens and culinary supplies for your experience. There is even a fire pit for your evening to be spent in great conversation or listening to your favorite music. Enjoy a dock for a boat, canoe to borrow, or simply bask in the sun with a lawn chair and your favorite book. Thank you for making my stay the most memorable one!
