We had seen Maison des Oliviers on this site at least 6 months ago and fell in love with the pictures, but they were listed as a monthly rental only... Persistence pays off and was sooooo worth it!! This house goes beyond what the pictures show.. It was perfect!! Decorated beautifully, an amazing pool and patio area, and you're surrounded by Cabernet vineyards.. The master suite is heaven!! Big comfortable bed, enormous bathroom and the views....wow... The house is 5 mins. from downtown Napa and there's a Trader Joes and Whole Foods close too. Wineries are a stones throw, but you'll wanna pick up some wine and some steaks, go home and throw them on the grill and relax in your hot tub and sip some wine while you watch the sun set over Mount Helena.. And the property owner is the nicest guy!! And he has his own winery too, Eleven Eleven, damn good Chardonnay!! It was our first time at this house and we will be back!!

We have an annual girls trip and there are usually 6 or 7 of us that go each year. We live in TX, RI, and CO and it gives us all a chance to spend a good 4 or 5 days together. We opted for a Napa Valley trip this year as we are all wine lovers and had never done Napa as a group before. I found Mary Jane and Bob's house and immediately sent it to my girls. The pictures are beautiful and give you an idea of what you will get, but the house and the views surpassed our expectations. We cooked in the gourmet kitchen, grilled outside on the deck, and looked at the stars while we enjoyed our wines from the day over good conversation and a lot of laughs. It was really a perfect house for 6 girls to enjoy time together. The master suite, where I was fortunate to stay, was so comfortable and inviting. The elevator made getting our luggage upstairs super easy! The views from the deck made mimosas taste better in the morning! We truly enjoyed our time there and really appreciate the opportunity to stay. None of us had cell service (ATT and VZ) but the house does have wi-fi and a house phone we could accept calls on from back home. We had a limo pick us up every day for our tours and he was easily able to navigate the tight and windy road. The only negative, and I loosely call it that, is the 20 minute drive from Silverado Trail up to the house. But I forgot all about that once I was in my comfy clothes snuggled in the couch on the deck enjoying my wine and good company. I highly recommend the property and would stay there again!
