Wonderful!! Did not want to leave.

5 of 5
At the end of our very first day at the property, my son decided we should become squatters and never wanted to leave. The property was quiet, very well appointed and lacked nothing. We sat on the deck and watched to stars at night and listened to the waves and in the morning sat at the breakfast table and watched the whales play. We flew kites on the beach and played in the sand. We hope to return again next year and make more family memories.

perfect

5 of 5
Everything was wonderful, having bicycles was the best part, everything is accessible from the bike trail. The house was lovely and comfortable and magical. We had a perfect vacation.

Good family home in excellent location!

4 of 5
My first impression of this house wasn't great, but we warmed up to it and liked it enough to book it for a longer stretch of time this summer. When you walk in the front door you are in the least attractive spot in the home - a hallway at the bottom of the stairs. You have 2 bedrooms, the garage, washer/dryer, and one small full bath downstairs. Then upstairs there is a nice large master bedroom with a large bathroom (toilet/shower are separated by pocket door from sink area), a small den-type room with a murphy bed, and the living/dining/kitchen areas. The living, dining, and kitchen areas are all open to each other, and they all have an amazing long view of the ocean. We had some stormy weather and some sunshine while we were here, and the changing skyline was awesome! We even saw dolphins and a rainbow! The house has some things that have been recently updated, but there's definitely things (like some areas of the carpet, etc.) that seem a bit aged and weathered. The house had a little smell when we got there, but as I learned when we were doing laundry when we were about to leave, I think the washing machine gives off a stink! The linens were too strongly scented for some members of my family too. There is a garage too, but we couldn't get the garage door to open (it opened slowly & crooked, and looked like it was about to break!), so it wasn't usable to us. The bedroom upstairs with the Murphy bed was fine for a kid or a deep sleeper, but the bed was very hard, and the room just has bifold doors that don't block the sound from the living room much at all. It does have a small sink, which might be handy. The location of the upstairs bathroom is a bit awkward, because you have to walk through the master bedroom to get there, so it's not usable while the people in that room are asleep. The front patio area is nice for adults eating dinner or drinking wine - great view. The backyard is cozy and clean, and only accessible from one of the downstairs bedrooms, or from a narrow walkway on one side of the house. It has a patio area with two small high tables, perfect for adults, and a hot tub with a tall fence around it. The hot tub is also accessible from the other downstairs bedroom. We had to communicate with the owners a few times, and they were helpful and gracious. The location is fabulous and the beach there is great. My family had a great time and look forward to coming back.
