What a wonderful experience. Perfect location, friendly neighbors and perfect walking distance to the beach. We absolutely loved the days we spent there. We will be back and would love to stay with Luv Surf. House was so nice and comfy. Cant wait to go back. Next time we will look into a bigger space and we know that it will be as nice. Thank you Dolly

A wonderful experience

If you don't have the right people taking care of your business, the business will not succeed, and if there was a customer service of the year award, it would be given to Sheila Steverson at Luv Surf. Sheila personally arranged our stay and spoke with us over the phone to make sure the property would fit our needs. We had a scheduling conflict and she put us at ease and promised to take care of us. When we arrived at Redondo, we were pleasantly surprised by all the little details of this tri-level property. The home has lovely heart trim on the outside and soaring ceilings on the inside. It is tastefully decorated with beautiful stain glass windows that were illuminated with each sunrise. The top floor has a great stain glass window in the bathroom over a large Jacuzzi tub. The mattress is so exceptional that I took a picture of the tag so as to purchase one for ourselves in the future. There is a little bistro table on the tiny patio connected to the master that is perfect for viewing the moon and stars at night or having a cup of tea in the morning. The middle level has the kitchen, small desk area, bathroom, and living area. We liked the ornate fireplace and beautiful painting with great accent pillows on the leather couches. The kitchen was well supplied and had a balcony attached. The bottom floor has one bedroom with a bathroom. In my opinion, every rental that allows for pets should only have wood or tile floors, although wood is warmer and more attractive. This property had wood floors that were easy for sand clean up. The property is right across the street from a beautiful beach and close to a patch of grass for pets to use. We appreciated the luxury throws, the tasteful décor, the bottles of wine, and the boogie boards/life vests. Whenever we had something that needed to be addressed, Sheila was accessible and handled it perfectly. We enjoyed dining at The Patio restaurant and shopping at the little Luv Surf shop for apparel that are affiliated with the company. Although Redondo was a perfect property for us, it was Sheila that sealed the deal in creating a loyal customer. Luv Surf will be the place we count on for every San Diego stay.

Wonderful - Great Stay

Very pleased with our stay– great location, lovely view, well-appointed condo. At the southern tip of Mission Beach, quiet neighborhood next to the beach, nice view and across the channel from another beach (dog beach) – lovely to have coffee in the morning watching the whale watching boats going out to the ocean. Within walking distance of the beach and the bay, scenic walks. Can walk to bars/restaurants. Parking is included and there are grills in the courtyard. We cooked several meals, which helped us manage costs, and we had breakfast at the condo (nice coffeemaker & also a French press if you prefer). There’s also a laundry room in the building. Description was accurate and then some – it exceeded our expectations. Very clean and nice; remodeled bathroom. Property well cared for. I’d definitely recommend this place to others and would enjoy staying here again. Easy to get in with the lockbox, instructions and directions were super clear. Owners thought of every detail and provide thoughtful items like flashlights if you want to take a walk at night, candles for ambience (electric candles, for safety), suggestions for places in the area. I suggest you read the binder that comes with the rental – grocery store recommendations, restaurants, and instructions for anything in the building/condo. We enjoyed The Olives café for breakfast that was recommended by the owners. Very comfortable bed and soft fluffy robes. The natural light is great but if you want to sleep in there are blackout shades in the bedroom. The rental comes with 2 bicycles (and helmets) and we enjoyed cycling along the beach. Also boogie boards, which we didn’t use. Small living room (coach is a pullout) but cleverly laid out – table folds out for a dining table, ottomans can be used as a coffee table. I wasn’t sure if the place would have all the things I’m used to at hotels like an iron/ironing board and hairdryer, but it had everything – even quarters for you to do your first load of laundry on them, detergent, soap, shampoo, sunscreen, beach towels, beach toys, books, board games, movies, cards. Kitchen comes with most anything you need including seasonings, nice appliances, coffee/creamer and some pantry staples. Even stuff you might want if planning a picnic or taking stuff to the beach. Was a little chilly when we arrived (1st week of Jan) and even tho the building doesn’t have heat, with the space heater it was comfortable. Thanks for the lovely stay!
