And after our second long stay we plan to return

5 of 5
With grandchildren in Mill Valley we travel from the NYC area several times a year. Now we've found the right place to stay. Although the stairs are steep and I have a few mobility issues, they weren't a problem for me. There are also ample closets and drawers for those who stay a few weeks at a time as we do. We feel comfortable in the cottage, our eldest granddaughter has had a sleep-over and the middle one is due to stay with us next trip. The cottage is surprisingly roomy. There are "away places" and central areas so people can do whatever they like without disturbing others. It IS elegant, as others have noted, but it is funky elegance, the kind you notice and smile at. The hidden bathroom is my favorite, but the chandeliers run it a close second. Take a moment to enjoy them. And, yes, the beds are super comfortable, the dinnerware is more than ample and it is interesting, not your basic IKEA stuff. We recommend staying here for the location, the comfort and good feeling of the cottage, and for its tranquility. Philip continues to be very responsive to the needs of renters, so we suggest this, even for people who are in their 70s, as we are.

Wonderful!

5 of 5
We absolutely loved our stay. My husband and 2 small children (ages 7 & 5) arrived to a beautiful, clean and welcoming atmosphere. Katy the hostess was wonderful and provided us with such small added touches (special soft 'snuggly' blankets for the kids, coffee for the adults in the morning etc) that truly made our adjustment from the east coast to the west coast wonderful. The home was very clean and comfortable. Beds were wonderful - we all slept so great. Katy was also great at communicating prior to our arrival. She was very quick to respond to any questions we would of had. I truly felt 'at home' at this rental property as did my family. We would happily stay here again.
