First off, the pictures don't do this house justice. The feeling you get when you walk in with the views of the trees is incredible. We were fortunate enough to arrive during a snow storm and it was a winter wonderland. The trees were covered in snow and you felt like you were in the middle of the forest while sitting on the couch enjoying the fire. It was so nice to have a real wood burning fireplace, it really made the ambiance special with the smells and sounds of the cracking fire.
We loved how close the house is to the mountain! We had 3 families staying and we weren’t all on the same schedule so walking to the lifts when we wanted was a treat. The walk to Eagle Lodge was easy enough for my 6 year old to do with boots on without complaining and that’s saying something!
The spa was a huge hit with the kids and adults. It was great to warm up after skiing, enjoy a drink, and breath in the mountain fresh air. The deck is right off the living room and very private from the street and other houses which was nice.
The kitchen was amazing and had everything we needed to cook our meals. We even used the BBQ on the deck for steak night. The dining table only sat 10 and there were 14 of us but it wasn’t an issue since there were plenty of bar stools at the counter and a kitchen table close by.
Thanks Andy, we will be back next year!
