“Very clean and well equipped, quiet”

          5 of 5
We visit LB every two years for a vacation and to visit family in the close area and this is the first time we considered renting in LB rather than staying with family. The location was great, very quiet (mainly due to E Florida St becoming one way at the next block) no one uses it as a through route. Off Street parking superb. Its really close (5mins walk) from the fun 4th Street offers. small restaurants, wine bars, coffee shops and vintage shops. We had a few great nights on 4th without the worry of driving for a good meal (and Drink!). The equipment level is way above any rental we have used on our travels around California, from the kitchen to the TV, Wifi, aircon, bbq and the very comfortable back yard! Also very clean. Gotta say the Bikes came in really handy as well, with only 5 mins to the entrance to the beach (along Junipero) Belmont Shore and Shoreline are very accessible if you don't mind a gentle bike ride. We had 5 of us in the bungalow with no issues on comfort or sleeping arrangements. The only regret is that we didn't have the Bungalow for the 3 weeks we were visiting, the 12 days was great but would book earlier next time to accommodate our full vacation.

          Amazing Experience at Guesthouse Oasis!

          5 of 5
Our family of 3 stayed at this guesthouse for a week in July 2011, and it was nothing short of amazing. The backyard is simply incredible, with waterfalls, color-changing pool lights, and lit palm trees that create a spectacular scene at night. We used the pool and hot tub nearly every day, roasted s'mores over the fire pit, and grilled several meals poolside at the outdoor kitchen. It's also perfectly located in Hollywood; absolutely everything we needed to do was within an hour (and we went all over LA), and the neighborhood was wonderful for jogging, walking to shops and restaurants, and seeing the sights on Hollywood Blvd. Our family agreed we had our best vacation ever, and it had everything to do with coming home to this oasis at the end of each day. I'd like to note also that the owner was especially accommodating, he made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. We can't wait to stay here again, only next time it will be for longer than a week!
