GREAT HOUSE - GREAT LOCATION!

5 of 5
Stayed here over New Years with 3 other couples - plenty of room! The open kitchen and great room area are ideal for group stays because we can all be in the kitchen and not trip over one another. The furnishings are comfortable and I like that the hot tub had a deck above it so we didn't have to walk through snow to get to it! The location was only minutes from Stateline and only 30-45 minutes from Kirkwood Ski Resort - our favorite haunt! Would definitely stay here again!

GREAT WEEKEND STAY!

4 of 5
We had a great weekend at this cabin. Everything was clean and comfy, and it was just the right size for us, our two kids, and our dog. We appreciated being able to bring our dog, she loved catching snowballs and eating them. At the cabin we are pretty sure we saw a wolf walking down the street, and a highlight for the kids - bear poop! :) The kitchen was well equipped and very nice. We enjoyed being close to everything, we took the kids across the state line for the first time and explored that area. Unfortunately there wasn't a lot of snow in the area the weekend we were there, but there was plenty at Camp Sacramento in the Echo Summit area, and the kids had a blast learning to sled. Overall it was a great place at a great price, I definitely recommend it! The only reason I didn't give the place 5 stars is that we had a couple stressful moments involving the locks. We were warned that it may be difficult to get in, and it was - it took nearly 10 minutes to get the lock on the door between the mud room and house to unlock upon our arrival. Then we discovered that the side door can be opened from the inside without unlocking it, and we ended up being locked out of the house when the kids went out without unlocking the door and we followed. Fortunately the kitchen window happened to be unlocked and we were able to boost a kid through. Not the owners' fault, but something to be aware of.

PERFECT TAHOE CABIN

5 of 5
The cabin had everything we needed for a perfect stay for our family of four with 2 young kids. It is well maintained with a spa getaway feel and relaxed cabin decor.  The kids loved the sledding across the street (more than the places we paid to sled!) and the location was fantastic. We could walk to shops or take a quick drive anywhere. The restaurant recommendations from the owner were right on.  We had sushi at Naked Fish which was worth the wait and had a delicious breakfast with great service at Heidi's. All in all, a splendid trip without complaint and one I would highly recommend.
