I've been before and I can't wait to go back. The owners are very accommodating, the location is absolutely prime for sparking solitude within driving distance of fun (Not that I left this time) and it's stunningly beautiful.
A few tidbits.
If you're going to use the hot tub, start it when you get there. It takes a few hours, but it ends up working beautifully.
Bring sensible shoes. It's hilly, rocky and there are stairs. You'll want then just in case.
The driveway is steep, but you can do it. I backed down it alone. Don't feel daunted (also don't back down it alone, if you can avoid it.)
Do listen for rattlesnake. They'll let you know they are there, so you can leave them alone.
Keep your camera handy. There's never any shortage of wildlife and scenery.
One bathroom and it's downstairs. You are warned.
I saw a complaint about the furnishings. I would say, It's not the taj mahal you're paying for. It's the spectacular environment and it does not fail for a moment. The house is comfortable and has everything you need, without you having to yell at your wet hubby to stay off the furniture, for fear of ruining it.
I dream of owning this place one day, but for now I'm just thankful I get to rent it. Thank you for another rejuvenating stay.
