Perfect!

5 of 5
Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was perfect for our budget and needs. Plenty of space for the 6 of us! The house had everything we needed including plenty of towels, blankets, and dishes...even everything to cook for our surf and turf night! Our favorite things were the wrap around window seat for reading, watching the deer in the backyard, the private beach was amazing, kids had a blast with the games and puzzles available as well as building forts in the trees. We can't wait to come back!! Also, staff was amazing! Michelle knew we were getting in late so she ran over and turned on the porch light for us!! Manager responded on 2/18/2015: Jennifer, I'm so glad to hear you and your family had a fabulous stay at the Bennett house. Hope you come back in the near future. Happy Travels Michelle.

Truly a Slice of Heaven

5 of 5
Wow!! We have stayed at many vacation rentals (including a couple at Irish Beach) and this was our best experience ever. We loved so many things about your Paradise Found Beach Home!! It's hard to pinpoint what I enjoyed most but I couldn't wait to park myself on the deck a comfy lounger and take in the gorgeous view and the warmth of the sun each morning after our beach walk. I also loved the light and overall beach feel of your home...you have done a wonderful job of decorating your home and we were impressed with the quality and comfort of your furnishings. My partner is an amateur chef and she was really impressed with the quality of your cookware, knives and how well-appointed your kitchen was. she was also very excited with your home entertainment system and thrilled when she realized she could stream movies on Netflix. We built a roaring fire and watched a movie each night and topped it off with a soak in the hot tub under the stars. I was almost lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean. Thank you, Cindy, for sharing your beautiful home with us! We had a perfect stay and we can't wait to come back.

Light-Filled Comfort

5 of 5
This is a wonderful vacation home (better than described!) New, with an open floorplan that includes lots of windows allowing light to fill the common areas, even in the foggy and cloudy weather. All the comforts of home including fluffy duvets, tub and showers, coffee grinder, coffee maker, and miles of counterspace. Not right on the beach, but you would not want to be; it is up on a high point and has an unparalleled view of the Point Arena lighthouse out on the tip of the crescent of Irish Beach stretching out before you. Beach access is within walking distance, down an adjacent road. The Mendocino Coast is spectacularly rocky with small towns dotting the winding road, both north and south. Perfect home base to just relax and unwind or to go day tripping inland to the Anderson Valley, and take in some redwoods as well. The area is particularly friendly to bicyclists, although bike lanes seem virtually non-existent. Kayaking available on the various rivers in the area. Recommend the Albion River Inn for dinner, ($$) about 2 miles south of the charming town of Mendocino. It is evident that the owners take great pride in their lovely home. We appreciate and respect the opportunity to enjoy it. I especially enjoyed the baby grand piano!
