                    PARADISE FOUND, ABSOLUTELY!

                    5 of 5
What a wonderful and beautiful place! My fiancé and I chose this house to elope in. We could not have been happier with our choice. Communications with the owner were easy and clear. Directions to the house and care of property was easily spelled out and left nothing to guess. The private beach was gorgeous and serene. The house itself is even better than the pictures! Paradise Found could easily be found in a beach issue of Home and Garden. The property was well cared for and private. We took a trip into Point Arena and had a great experience at Franny's bakery. The staff was so fun, helpful, and made delicious food/coffee! We brought our dog for a minimum fee which made our stay a lot less stressful as we were not worried about him at home. We will be coming back here for sure!

                    SIMPLY WOW!

                    5 of 5
From the moment we arrived to the moment we had to leave, we were enthralled with this beautiful property. The views are just stunning. The photos on this site are good, but are not to compare with the actual. It is quiet and secluded. We sat in the hot tub on the deck at night and simply stared at the Milky Way above with the sounds of the waves in our ears. The picture window in the master bath (facing the ocean) was off the charts. My wife and I cannot remember a comparable vacation taken in over 30 years of marriage.

                    LIGHT-FILLED COMFORT

                    5 of 5
This is a wonderful vacation home (better than described!) New, with an open floorplan that includes lots of windows allowing light to fill the common areas, even in the foggy and cloudy weather. All the comforts of home including fluffy duvets, tub and showers, coffee grinder, coffee maker, and miles of counterspace. Not right on the beach, but you would not want to be; it is up on a high point and has an unparalleled view of the Point Arena lighthouse out on the tip of the crescent of Irish Beach stretching out before you. Beach access is within walking distance, down an adjacent road. The Mendocino Coast is spectacularly rocky with small towns dotting the winding road, both north and south. Perfect home base to just relax and unwind or to go day tripping inland to the Anderson Valley, and take in some redwoods as well. The area is particularly friendly to bicyclists, although bike lanes seem virtually non-existent. Kayaking available on the various rivers in the area. Recommend the Albion River Inn for dinner, ($$) about 2 miles south of the charming town of Mendocino. It is evident that the owners take great pride in their lovely home. We appreciate and respect the opportunity to enjoy it. I especially enjoyed the baby grand piano!
