Relaxing Mountain Retreat

5 of 5
This was my first trip to Big Bear, and this cabin was the perfect for my relaxing visit. The view was amazing from inside, relaxing with morning coffee, or sipping a glass of wine watching the sunset on the beautiful deck in the hot tub. The details of the cabin made the stay just perfect; yes, it has the cabin feel of rustic with bear decorations. However, the solid surface counter tops, a cook's kitchen, and whirl pool tub allow for luxurious pampering and relaxing. It's a perfect balance. Additionally, it is in the mountains, yet only ten minutes from restaurants and boutiques. This is a can't miss spot! We would definitely pick this cabin again for our next vacation..

What an Amazing getaway !!!

5 of 5
We decided to book this property to celebrate a couple of family birthdays and as a surprise for my niece who had just completed her Devil Pups training. It turned out to be one of the best weekends away we have ever had. From the moment you arrive at the double gates the property exudes luxury. After making our way up the driveway we were met at the front door by Mei who welcomed us to "our new home" and from that moment on thats exactly how it felt for our entire stay. Mei was so friendly and accomodating she made us all feel at ease. After a brief tour of the house with our host we were left to enjoy the beauty and splendor of this amazing property. The house was very clean and tidy with plenty of towels and linen provided, the gardens and pool were immaculate too. We had planned on visiting some local vineyards prior to our stay but to be honest the tranquility and beauty of the estate meant that nobody wanted to leave so we spent the entire weekend relaxing at the property with only the occasional trip out to stock up on supplies. We had an issue with the refridgerator but one call to Mei had the problem resolved with her manager bringing over a replacement. Over the period of our vacation we had family of all ages ranging from 6 to 60+ staying and every single one of them loved their time there. To sum up I thoroughly recommend staying at this wonderful house. The place is stunning, the location is breathtaking and the owner and staff are warm and welcoming. The only negative thing I can say about my vacation there was that it was too short, nobody wanted to leave. A big thank you to Mei and her team for making our stay so memorable and I hope to see you again next year (planning it already). Regards Neal

Love the house and the location

4 of 5
Enjoyed our stay. Parts of the house are needing repair ie the coffee table to the right when going in the door.....glue needed. Windows and screens are in need of repair. Kitchen is well equipped, but some of the cracked bowls should be replaced. Loved the Nordic Ware cookware. The pool was heated on schedule...hot tube should be repaired as the kids had to wear socks to prevent sore feet. Some tiles were falling off or missing.
