Perfect for big groups!

5 of 5
Our group loved this place! Cozy and very clean! Very spacious and open on the main level. Enough room that nobody bumped into each other. We had total of 16 staying here. The rooms were spacious enough for everyone to sleep comfortably. Plenty of restrooms!! Which is a big plus for big groups. All the restrooms have showers. The master bedroom is big. Fits 7 but I think more can sleep in there. The kitchen is somewhat small for the size of the property but it got the job done! Has everything you need! Each level of the property has a child gate for the stairs so no need to bring one from home. Even the stairs outside has one built in. Property also has a grill that is easily accessible through the rear door in the kitchen. The property is close to the local markets. About a 5min drive. The lake is close by also. The surrounding area is very quiet. We didn't really have any neighbors during our stay. Jerry was very accommodating and answered all our questions right away. Would totally recommend this place to those that have a bigger size group. Thank you Jerry for letting us use your property! We will be returning again!

Cozy Convenient & Great memory for the family

5 of 5
My family settled on Sam and Carrie's property due to its proximity to Snow Summit Resort and the value. I had never booked a cabin/house before, let alone booked for eight adults and a toddler, so the anxiety was kinda high. However, from the beginning Sam and Carrie were always responsive to my questions and answered comprehensively. They were also always fair. The rental documents were very detailed, too. The house was great! It had everything that we needed from the spices and pots to the extra towels and blankets. I don't think there was anything that my family missed? The internet was spot on. The proximity to the supermarkets, gas stations, and the ski resort was great. The heater worked like a charm. The layout of the home (the second floor had a big room with its own bathroom and the two other rooms were on the first floor) was perfect for my family (i.e., the family with the toddler could stay upstairs). The house's decor make the house felt 'rustic' and 'nostalgic' and just how my family expected it. The high living room ceiling, the wood paneling...I think this was a great match! I hope we can come back when there is tons of snow and we actually feel the need to use the fireplace. I think the only issues were a very slight ant problem (those suckers are everywhere in this world) and that the stove did not ignite (i.e., use a lighter which I don't mind but some people might be scared?). Book! Book! Book!
