Amazing cabin w/a huge deck and amazing view!

5 of 5
This cabin is amazing! Our family goes to Big Bear every year and this has been our favorite cabin. The rooms are sized perfectly for their potential occupants. The master bedroom, located next to the kitchen, is huge! The other rooms are located on the bottom floor, along w/the pool table. The pool table's undamaged, unlike in many other cabins. Unfortunately there was no chalk for the tip of the pool cue..we made no attempt to contact anyone about this, however. There's an xbox in the pool room. Everything was clean and organized. Only downside is that there's no AC in the cabin, bummer if you're going during hot weather. They have a lot of movies..although only a couple of kid movies so you might want to bring some along. Our absolute favorite part of the cabin was indisputably the deck. It's extremely spacious w/a breathtaking view. We had our breakfast there every morning. It's a great experience to have breakfast while enjoying an amazing view. Perfect, relaxing place to read as well. We uploaded the trip pictures to facebook and received a lot of compliments on the cabin. Really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Would definitely recommend it.

Watch out for spiders

4 of 5
The house has plenty if room for families and dogs, which was great. The dogs have their own room off the kitchen with a door to the backyard. One thing about the master is there is no doors, it's the whole top floor. so if there are early risers, you'll wake up too. The windows in the living room are amazing to just look out of. There is a game room which was lots of fun for our families to play. It was also close to town. The owners was very nice too and had many things to help with our stay. Because of all the stairs, I wouldn't recommend this place to seniors or anyone with disabilities. There is some TLC that needs to be done on the house, the stairs up and all over the front of the house had a lot of spiders and webs. There were webs inside the house as well. In fact the first night we stayed I woke up to the biggest black spider I've ever seen and it was just hanging on the bathroom floor of the master. That wasn't the only big spider we killed in the house either.. I understand it's the mountains, but I would recommend this owner power wash the house from the outside and have pest control come on a regular basis to spray.

Awesome experience

5 of 5
I rented this house for my husband's 60th birthday. I had never been to Big Bear but I could not have picked a more perfect setting. Our entire family fit perfectly 10 adults and children. 3 bedrooms and a large downstairs room with 2 beds that fit the couple with children. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful view of the lake with a dock to fish off of and awesome BBQ grill on the deck. Really close to town for grocery runs. I wanted to take home the shower in the master bedroom home with me. We sat out on the deck at night and watched the sun go down. The artificial turf was also a great add on ground level. Joe was very easy to work with. Would definitely do it again.
