Weekend fishing trip

4 of 5
Rented this property for my group of friend's annual fishing trip. What caught us was the enormous deck (two-tier with around 2000 sq ft) with the large hot tub. From the deck you can see most of the mountain side and the lake. It's a particularly great view at sunrise/sunset. In addition the property had a good amount of common area and plenty of sleeping room (one very large master bedroom upstairs and three good sized bedrooms down stairs). I also found the owners to be very responsive and considerate. When we first checked in we noticed that the hot tub water was discolored so I gave the owner a call. He was very apologetic and was able to get some folks over to the house within 45 minutes. The only things that kept me from giving them the full five stars was the upstairs AC seemed to be under-powered as the living room stayed pretty hot and the freezer wasn't able to get too cold as we had some ice cream that we stored in the freezer melt on us over the course of the weekend. All in all, nothing that we couldn't live through and happy with the overall experience.

Incredible!!

4 of 5
This cabin was everything it advertised. It was perfect for our family of 6. My kids even loved the not so functioning foosball table. They had hours of fun on it simply because of its deficit. They said it made it more fun. The views are incredible and we fished and swam for hours off the private dock. We were sad that there were no water toys, (the only reason why I didn't give 5 stars, but I know it's for liability reasons) like kayaks or paddle boards, but were lucky enough to befriend the neighbors who loaned us theirs. We also rented a pontoon boat from Pleasure Point Marina. There is another marina where you can rent kayaks from just the next cove over, but it's super expensive. The owner was very kind and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again but next time we will bring our boat and other toys! Highly recommend this place.

Great home in a convenient location

5 of 5
My family and I had a great trip in June to Big Bear. We were very happy that we decided to stay at this property. Being our first time in Big bear, we were looking for a place that was close to the variety of activities that the town offers. We were able to get to both Boulder Bay and The Village by car in just about 5 minutes. We did walk to The Village one night too. We had a toddler and the home was big enough for him to play. We also brought our dog with us and there is a dog run in the back along with a variety of nearby hiking trails to take her on. The home was clean upon arrival and provided all the amenities we could ask for (including wi-fi). I would certainly consider staying at this property in the future.
