My wife and I and 4 other couples celebrated our friend's 40th birthday at this home, and we had a blast. The pool is humongous, and just as the description says, it has water falls, plenty of jump off spots and a large, shallow/wade area for the kids to play. One side yard consists of a large, fenced-in basketball court and a 9-hole putting green with two water falls, and the other side yard is all grass and has a horseshoe court. It is also perfect for playing bocce ball and croquet. There is also lots of lounge chairs, multiple seating areas, including a large dining table with seating for 8, in a covered patio area. Add to that the misters, which not only keep you cool but also keep the bugs away, and the built-in barbecue island with refrigerator and tiki roof to keep you shaded, and you have yourself quite a back yard paradise.
Palm Canyon Dr./111 is right behind the property, but you can't hear it thanks to the water falls and misters, so road noise is no issue.
Kitchen is fairly small, but well-stocked and opens up to the family room with a pool table and 3 wall mounted TV's. The living room is also large, with sliding glass doors to the covered patio area, and features a large TV and an even large couch which can easily accommodate sleepy guests.
Bedrooms are nice and clean, and so are bathrooms.
The only negatives would be that this is definitely no mid-century post & beam Palm Springs house. Rather, it is a fairly new house in a somewhat uncharming tract in Indian Wells. Also, there were no golf carts, as promised, which made our 11-year old boys upset, it is 4 bedrooms + den, not 5 bedrooms + den, as the description suggests, and the lot is definitely not "almost an acre", as the description says. I would say it is just under half an acre.
Owner was very nice and came over and helped out with a few minor things, shared a laugh and seemed like a really good guy.
All in all a fantastic house, and especially, a resort-like yard.
