Wonderful Stay

5 of 5
Spent the entire month of February 2014 here and loved every minute of it. We live in Northern Wyoming and wanted to get away from the winter. If there was a drawback it was the parking. Nothing against the owners, but the people that were staying in the upper condo just couldn't figure out the parking and kept blocking the walking area. We are seniors and it was hard to thread our way around the big vehicles. They were only there for a week so it wasn't that bad. The place was clean and well stocked except for a couple of things. It does need directions for the TV. Will be staying here again soon.

It Don't Get No Better

4 of 5
This condo on the beach is a perfect location for everything you need to do in Imperial Beach. Everything from groceries, liquor, coffee, restaurants, San Diego and fun are right at your fingertips. The view of the sand and water are outstanding. You can't get any closer to the beach. The patio is a wonderful place to watch the surfers, ships and sunsets while you imbibe in a glass of wine. The pier is right next door and the promenade has ice cream, pastries, coffee and gifts. Every Friday there is a farmers market that not only has fresh produce but homemade breads and cookies. Flowers are abundant as are all types of prepared food. Some of the best bbq and coming from a Texan that is saying a lot. The unit, by no means, is new, but it is fairly comfortable and serves your needs as a launching pad for viewing and visiting all the sites of San Diego and Mexico. The price, in comparison to other rentals in the area, is unbeaten. It comes pretty well stocked and the managers are johnny on the spot to deliver what ever might be missing. Great stay and we will be back.

Great for families

5 of 5
We chose this place because we could see our kids on the beach from the apartment. The apartment was simple, clean, and well-maintained. Check-in and out was easy. Walking distance to good, family-friendly restaurants. View of the beach in both directions as far as the eye can see. The beach is great for children, flat with shallow waves and calm surf. Nice sized beach. The lifeguards were constantly patrolling. No alcohol allowed on the beach. The pier makes a nice walk, with no-license fishing. Equipment is available to rent. The atmosphere of Imperial Beach is mellow and friendly. We will definitely stay there again!
