A HOME FOR ALL AGES.

5 of 5
I love taking my family on week-long trips together. This one was especially pleasant because of the very comfortable home, beautiful surroundings, affordability and very helpful and responsive owner. We were three generations, ages 13 to 70. Everyone found the trip to be exactly what they wanted. The home is large enough and designed in such a way that it makes you feel right at home and comfortable the moment you step in. There are areas for large group settings and spaces for getting away and being alone when needed. Some of our favorite things: outdoor dining on a beautiful patio, walking into town, visiting the nearby nature center, games around the dining room table or relaxing and enjoying time together in the entertainment room playing pool or reading. My granddaughter made a statement that we all agreed with: “This just feels like we are visiting a good friend.” Lord willing and the creek don’t rise, we will definitely be back.

a wonderful experience

The pictures to not do this place justice! It was beautiful, absolutely spotless, and quite a bit larger than it would appear to be. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils, pots, pans, and appliances we could possibly need for cooking and baking as well. We never got around to playing any of the games they had available, but they have a great assortment and some good books as well. This would be a great place to have a Thanksgiving dinner or spend a Christmas holiday with friends and famiily. There is plenty of storage space for whatever you need to bring with you. We would definitely recommend this place to a friend. The only thing that might be improved on would be the bed linens, we're a bit picky about that but the beds were comfortable enough regardless. The property offers good privacy and is just a minute or two from restaurants and shopping. Our stay here gave us just the rest and relaxation we needed. We highly recommend Cafe Aroma for breakfast (haven't had lunch or dinner there yet, will have to do that next trip!) and Honey Bunns and Joe for pecan sticky buns that are to die for. The folks at Quiet Creek are great, they were available at any time for questions or if we needed assistance. After the first night of a four night stay we ended up booking another night, we didn't want to leave!
