Good as it gets!

5 of 5
We just returned from a four day adult weekend at Villa Terra Bella. The weekend was fantastic. Great property, great location, endless amenities. This property and location speaks for itself, so I must emphasize what a pleasure it was working with Darlene to plan our weekend. She is very professional, accommodating and reliable. She is also readily available at all times, and was prompt to respond to any and all of our needs. Let me also note that I worked off of her list of recommendations available on her website. We arranged for Robert Negoesco of Eli Grace Catering to prepare a private dinner in the Villa one evening. He much like Darlene was great to work with, prompt, efficient, precise and reliable. He designed and executed the perfect family style dinner party for eight people that we enjoyed from beginning to end. May I also point out that the fresh flowers and bottle of wine on the dining room table was a very nice touch to welcome us to the property. I highly recommend Villa Terra Bella, Darlene and her associates. Thank you for everything, I hope to return soon!

Lovely House

4 of 5
Traveling with a large group it was difficult to find somewhere with 5 or more baths and this house was perfect for our group of 12, every couple had their own room and bathroom. The photos that shows rooms with twin beds were made into very comfortable king beds and the house has lots of space both indoors and out to spread out. Spending time in the pool, with that view was a great way to wind down after days out wine tasting. We made most of our dinners and breakfasts at the house and the kitchen was great, lots of room and all the dishes, pots, pans and serving items we needed. We were there during a very warm week in September, with temperatures reaching the low 90s, and while the house was not quite cold inside during the day it was comfortable and we had no issues sleeping at night. (We are from the Texas and used to always having air conditioning, so we were quite surprised by this). The drive while mentioned in other reviews does take some extra effort in how you plan your day, the isolation was sort of nice....we heard coyotes at night and the star gazing was great. Pros: The view, the pool, the kitchen, the house fits a large group of couples traveling together, lots of room to spread out and nice space inside and out. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all very nicely furnished with nice fixtures. Cons: There are no window coverings...this was not at all an issue for those in the 4 rooms on the second floor but those in the 2 rooms on the 1st floor felt a little exposed. Water pressure upstairs is a little light in some showers. Surfaces in the kitchen (wood and white marble) were lovely but took some extra diligence to make sure they didn't get damaged.
