Abolutely stunning location and accommodation

5 of 5
You never know quite what to expect but the photo looked great, the beach allowed dogs, Mike was extremely responsive to my inquiry and accepted our canine family members. We were absolutely elated when we arrived. The beds and linens were comfy, the welcome basket well stocked and condiments already available in fridge. The garden, enclosed but also able to be opened out onto the open area in front and equipped with the most wonderful gas fire pit table I have ever seen was perfect. Everything was spotless. Mike's very detailed suggestions for visitors in the area were expert and appreciated. We did go to the pier and got a lovely fresh salmon to grill. Hikes on the beach and Mavericks overlook trail were lovely with Mike's easy directions - we had tried on a previous visit to locate the way up and failed. Only downside - hardly a downside - is we were so very well situated we did not even bother going into the City! Many thanks!

Great location.

I really enjoyed this property. The location is perfectly located for walks on the beach, hiking to beautiful private beaches, exploring tidal pools, paddle boarding, delicious seafood, etc. The loft is very cozy with amazing views. It was really clean and was fully stocked with cooking supplies, serving ware, etc. They also provided coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sugar, paper towels, etc. There is a steep staircase to access this property. We brought two small dogs. I didn't love hauling them up and down the stairs to do their business, but the owner was very open about this. They also have a ground-level property in the same building. If I go back, I will still stay in the loft, even with the dogs, because I loved the views. The owner was very helpful. Very easy reservations. I didn't meet him, but didn't really need to. He gave us great instructions and everything that we needed was there. I loved that they have everything labeled with instructions! I'm not mechanically inclined, so that was very helpful. A few hints: - I didn't think the local water tasted very good. I would bring bottled water next time. - Loved the Princeton Seafood Company. Great food. Easy walk from the property. - The beach in front of the property is VERY dog friendly. Lots of dogs running and playing unleashed. We loved it. - Our favorite part was hiking to the private beach just on the other side of the point. It's a really steep trail, but worth it. Just stay on the trail. We saw some poison ivy off the trail.
